Really enjoyed the stay even though it was only one night

The only issue that we had was that the hot water wasnt hot when we got to the apartment. My daughter had been at a Cheer comp all day and needed to wash her hair out and the water was only warm. It got the job done and when we cam back from dinner later the water was hot so no further issues.

Staff were really friendly and it was really welcoming. The building itself was beautiful and such a quaint, traditional pub feel. We stayed in the Coach House and the rooms itself was really cosy and comfortable.

Bright green exit light, illuminated the room at night time, it sits directly across from the bed. Room was clean but quite dusty with a lot of spiders in each corner of the room and in the bathroom.

Lovely stay! Staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Traditional inn, well-located for local sightseeing. Mews suites are lovely.

Bed was only a standard double, but good mattress and quality bedding. Radiators full on when we arrived (a hot day); we had to be shown how to turn them off using the thermostat that we hadn't noticed, then the room cooled down eventually. Shower/ toilet a little dated but OK. Would have been nice to have plain yoghurt on the breakfast buffet, not just fruit yoghurts, and better-quality preserves, also didn't like the fried bread which seemed to be deep-fried. But that's just me being picky. 10 am checkout might seem a bit early for some.

'Suite' turned out to be in what I assume is converted stable block with own entrance from car park, spacious lounge downstairs (with fridge and small TV) and double bedroom upstairs (with another small TV). Nicely furnished, spotlessly clean. 2 different packs of Border biscuits on the hospitality tray as well as capuccino and hot chocolate sachets (one of each). Large beer garden, pub lounge and very pretty dining room. Restaurant cuisine is plain English, home-cooked, competently prepared but I'm sure there are other eateries in walking distance if you fancy something different. Good English breakfast with quality bacon. No real problem with traffic noise despite location at traffic lights. Overall good enough that we may well stay again as this is such an interesting area with Ironbridge museums nearby.

The room was very cold when we arrived and adjusting radiators didn't help.

The staff were excellent. The room was clean and tidy. The food was consistently good. Much Wenlock is a good base for visiting Ironbridge and NT properties.

Not keen on the selection of beers in the bar, and I would have liked more choice at breakfast. Nothing really to complain about, and the room was good value but I can't conjure up much enthusiasm.

No complaints. Car parking was easy and convenient, and the situation in the middle of town was great. Dinner was fine and breakfast OK but not especially memorable,

Room 11 has a tiny shower room and a very ineffective shower. Also the bed is lumpy and uncomfortable.

Fab breakfast and welcoming staff. Evening meal was enjoyable for the majority of the group but the duck “special “ was very disappointing.

Some fresh milk would have been good as the room had a fridge, but UHT was provided for the tea/coffee. Not a big deal, we bought some from the petrol station over the road.

We had one of the duplex rooms in what would have been the stables. It was really spacious and good value.

The bathroom had no shelves to put anything on such as tooth brush etc. The light over the mirror did not work so a wet shave was difficult and nowhere to put the razor. No hooks to hang anything up either.
