No real issues with the hotel, if anything might look a little tired from the outside, but don't let that fool you.

Amazing location in the beautiful Douglas. Very nice bar area to sit and chill with very tasty food being served up. At breakfast there was everything you could want with a very good selection of hot and cold food and drinks.

Excellent location , lovely staff , food in restaurant very good , however breakfast was disappointing and the female staff on weren’t good , polite or even helpful When in a hotel I don’t expect to have to find my own cup and coffee after asking twice

No pool. Rooms comfortable. Tea and biscuits provided. Overall the hotel a bit dated but must be one if the better hotels in Douglas without doubt.

Well situated on the promenade. Easy to walk to Main Street port or Derby castle. Great breakfast. Good service and very pleasant staff. Spacious entrance area. Accommodating leaving baggage after check out.

Excellent promenade location with easy access to various modes of public transport. Comfortable sea view room; attractive bar & restaurant areas both serving delicious, quality food, (btw, enjoyable relaxed atmosphere with a super pianist in the bar). The staff were courteous friendly & efficient.

Most of the staff were lovely. Just a couple that could improve their attitude.

Beautiful position on the sea front. A bit of a walk from the ferry if it was raining. Sea view room worth the extra.

The only criticism I have is that the elevator was small and slow.

Very small lift for such a big hotel. Shower curtain in our room which I hate.

Ideal location. Very spacious and smart. Excellent food in the Piano Bar. Our room was very good except for comment below. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Very quiet.

Breakfast is possibly a little lacking in its offering, perhaps some improved deli style, omelettes etc.

Staff we lovely, receptionist was fab and very helpful (I checked in around 4pm so whoever was one the desk then). Room was lovely, clean and tidy, can't fault it.

The pillows so uncomfortable, the piano playing very loud and very dated music , like sitting in a lift, so made staying in the bar less enjoyable.

Loved the location, except for one individual the staff all went above and beyond to make our stay happy. The view was memorable. Loved this hotel.

Overpriced in my opinion. £400 for 3 nights isn't the best value for a small single room. I guess you are paying for the location but it's still a bit too much in my opinion. The hotel also caters for weddings and other functions, so bear this in mind when booking.

The location of the hotel was great for local transport links, bars, restaurants and shops. The price was very good including breakfast. We thought the bar area was comfortable and reasonably priced with a sea view.

Cooked breakfast was self-service -which I've not seen since pre-covid, but its a good thing to be able to serve yourself! Kippers had to be ordered separately but were excellent! Room was clean and comfortable; staff were helpful We had a restaurant meal one night which wasn't cheap, but was very nice The hotel was good value for money

Lift out iof action for entire stay. Only one lift for entire hotel. Allocated a room of third floor (no view) radiator noisy and pipes banging even when switched. Husband had to climb the stairs 6 times on arrival due to one thing and another and reception not answering phone. Although active pensioners found the stairs a challenge. After complaing allocated a room on the first floor (still no views - facing a wall. On speaking to a guest on the day we were due to leave the staff had told them the lift only broke the day before they arrived eventhough that wasn't true.

The hotel was centrally situated. Furnishings in lobby and bar area good. Food pricey but well presented and good. Bedroom not big for family room but they managed to fit a double and single. Clean and serviced regularly
