Shower door didn’t shut properly , door and shower had grime on it. Bathroom door and room door very stiff. TV was unplugged, the plug was very dusty. No notepad or pen in room. No hand soap in bathroom. An extra bed was placed in the room which limited walking space.

Good location. Evening staff and housekeeping were more friendly and polite. Breakfast was okay.

We had a very hot room. The shower was pretty weak considering it had a big head. Didn’t like that I couldn’t lock the main door. We have always liked the breakfast but this time we had to request coffees none were offered. Food was good. It felt very under staffed. Many coach tourists who were a little rude.

It’s a lovely building, great location. Lady in the bar kindly gave us some tap water at 22.30 (with a smile) as we couldn’t get the water in the vending machine out. A water dispenser somewhere (free) would be a great idea. These days we don’t want to buy plastic bottles.

TV would not tune and find Programmes despite being quite new. Shower fittings were such poor quality that even though quite they were already broken.

Always a little too warm in the building and one or two noisy residents but that's what you get in a hotel.

Bathroom very, very small, you could barely get in front of the sink to close the door behind, as no space, the sink was set too high, you need to stay on your tiptoes to be able to wash if you are smaller than 160cm, middle

Size of the bathroom was small, but it was spic and span. Not really a negative, actually.

An old building but immaculately maintained. The staff is extremely courteous, efficient and helpful. Our room didn't overlook the beautiful Blackheath out front, but did open into a peaceful little garden in the back. Breakfast was really really good. Had a wonderful and comfortable stay, and would highly recommend the value for your money.

It would have been nice if the internet had been up and running. We arrived on a Thursday and it still wasn’t operational when we left the following Tuesday….very vague reasons for the lack of repairs.

Breakfast brilliant. Room clean and comfortable. Old fashioned but with character à la Agatha Christie!!! Location fine for us as near our son. And good transport for getting to tube/train etc. Very close to Greenwich Park. Excellent value for money

The flow on the shower was a bit weak, but manageable. Apart from that minor issue everything was excellent.

The room was very comfortable and quiet and the breakfast excellent. I was at an evening event in Kidbrooke and stayed for two nights. The location was good as I could also get into London very easily with the station just a few minutes walk away and very frequent trains. Certainly worth considering for future London visits.

Unfortunately there was no wifi and the employees had no idea when it would return There was only one iron in the whole hotel. I was informed that the others had 'disappeared'. Shower difficult to understand and I had to request assistance from an employee who was very helpful.

I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel which was very nice. The double bed I slept in was very comfortable. I was upgraded from a single to a double due to being the bride in a bridal party. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
