Over heated bedroom.

The staff were 1st class,welcoming and helpful,10/10 our only fault was our room was far too hot,but when we contacted reception we were immediately offered a new room or a fan,we were ready for bed so chose the fan it was in our room within 5 mins. We had a good rate,so, it was great value for money and the breakfast was excellent We were seated immediately, a very reasonable wait for breakfast which was smoked salmon and perfect poached eggs! Thank you so much.

Poor value for money Exposed pipes meant every single time water flowed around the building it made terrible noise. One night it kept me awake until 02.00 in the morning. People at the bus stop outside using the entrance steps as seating to wait for the bus My breakfast on day 2 took almost 35 minutes to arrive at the table. Staff provided an additional pot of tea and remembered unprompted to apologise the following morning which was appreciated.

The staff were very welcoming and helped us with any question we asked. Having not stayed in this area before the reception staff were very helpful with transport and directions. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, would definitely stay again. The hotel was in a great location, 10 min walk to train station and 5 mins walk to the tram

The room was very different to the photos. I assume the rooms in the photos have been renovated but ours was very dated. The room was also very hot and the air con didn’t seem to make much difference and was incredibly noisy making it difficult to get a good sleep

This hotel is OK. We stayed in a very strange room that had bare plaster walls. There was a number of pipes passing through which made it look like we had been allocated the boiler house. There was the classic kettle lead too short to reach the socket but we coped. Why do hotel staff never do a "user trip" on their rooms?

The bed was very comfortable and the TV excellent - UHD for sure. Very nice wet-room shower - make sure you take care which shower head you turn on first!

Sleep was not great not soundproof at all, door shaking whenever someone walked past sounded like a knock on the door. 3 times we got up to double check no-one was knocking on the door it was that loud

The room we stayed in was very basic in comparison to main reception restaurant area. No plug sockets by bed to charge phone. Room was dark and stuffy, very warm and air con was no good.

The socket next to one side of the bed didn't work so couldn't charge a phone next to that side. The mini fridge didn't work, it was on but not cold. The plastic around the key card holder in the room kept falling off. We were in room 406.

But the rooms were basic, not clean, the bathrooms are grubby, dated and broken in places, let the hotel down, but still good value for a good location

The main hotel reception foyer, bar and restaurant had a lovely ambience and industrial feel. Lovely staff. .

Told by reception on check in that they would refund our discount for the car park as the online code could not be used due to no online booking spaces left. We still used the car park. We asked about this as we left and nothing was done. Receptionist did not offer this again and didn’t really help. This is the only issue we had everything else great.
