The only slight disappointment was the range on offer at the continental breakfast, considering how superb the restaurant is.

The room was large and surprisingly quiet, the bed very comfortable, and the bar downstairs is great!

The Classic Rooms are in desperate need of an updating. If booking this hotel I suggest only going for the Signature Rooms.

The hotel is really well placed, just off China Town. It has a modern aesthetic and friendly staff.

My husband felt the design of rooms veered more towards unfinished rather than modern. For instance the raw plaster walls & the exposed pipe works. Personally I like this

For the cost and presentation of this hotel you'd expect basic things like accessible plugs on either side of the bed, a towel radiator you can switch off in summer and AC that doesn't ruin your ear drums. We went on a warm day in May and it felt like every appliance in the bathroom was just radiating heat.

The bathroom felt like an afterthought to the room and would seriously benefit from being upgraded in keeping with the style of the lobby and rooms. The cleanliness of the bathroom also fell short of what I would expect, hairs on the floor and towels.

We loved the style of the property, really welcoming and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great and the room size was perfect. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We didn’t use the onsite restaurant or bar however they were a nice facility to have within the building. Location is great, a short walk from Manchester Piccadilly.

Service was really slow it took a long time to get drinks up til 30 min to get beers and the breakfast took 45-60 min to be served.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and great location, beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet considering you were in the city centre. Would definitely come back. Based on other reviews we went for the Deluxe rooms and would recommend!

It took a couple of minutes to speak to a member of staff regarding booking in, but this was due to them being busy. This was not really an issue for us but the only negative thing I can think of.

The breakfast was a lovely full English. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Location is perfect right in the middle of Manchester city centre. The usual price for this hotel is quite expensive but if you can get a good deal it's well worth the money.
