The breakfast and food was excellent, we had the chalet which was so comfy and private, roaring log fire, Sandra and Dave the host where great always at hand if you needed anything, booked to go back

Absolutely beautiful accommodation and location and beautiful owners so caring and hard working family sitting outside watching the cute ducks and hen with beautiful views was stunning and amazing breakfast with home made products to chose from and so peaceful tranquil quality in a beautiful part of Yorkshire near pickering and thornton le dale such beautiful villages and the tv show bangers and cash shop thank you both so much all the best to you all

Fantastic hosts, lovely quiet location and excellent facilities. Overall, there is a really nice vibe about the place. Super comfy beds, great shower, sheltered deck and all you need if you want to self cater. Fantastic value too. We will be back again; this was our second visit, first time in the cabin.

The only thing that we didn't like was no wardrobe. There are some pegs for clothes in the main room and bathroom but I didn't want to hang my clothes in the bathroom in case they became damp.

Loved the view across the garden made more interesting by the chicken and two geese wandering around. The cottage was well equipped and very cosy, had everything we needed.

Sandra and David are wonderful hosts, friendly, accommodating and went over and above to make our stay most enjoyable. Our room was superb; large, clean, airy and with everything we needed. I loved having a mini-fridge in the room, which had fresh milk and orange juice waiting for us. The balcony was a welcome place to sit to enjoy the beautiful views. The large jacuzzi bath in the bathroom was also a definite bonus! Sandra has a great breakfast and evening supper menu, a good variety of choice, and will go off menu to support dietary needs. Thank you! Our meal was delicious! We would definitely love to return.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the wood cottage it all met my expectations and more.

The breakfast was very nice and the option of having an evening meal as there wasn’t anywhere to eat after 6pm in the evening was very much appreciated.

Lovely place and setting very peaceful we stayed in the cabin which was lovely and had everything you needed. The hosts Sandra and David are lovely and very welcoming nothing was too much trouble, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and very plentiful. We will definitely be back and would definitely recommend.

Excellent value for money. Room warm, clean and comfortable, leading onto balcony with lovely views. Big bathroom with jacuzzi, loved it. Breakfast predominantly homemade made with wide choice and faultless quality. Host and hostess very caring, friendly and attentive.

I liked everything, absolutely no complaints at all.

Wood cottage is charming. Beautifully presented, spacious and very comfortable. A lovely peaceful location looking out onto a country garden. I loved watching the two ducks paddle round the garden and a friendly hen peck the grass. Very friendly hosts and a wide range of choices for breakfast,....which was delicious. Thank you. Can fully recommend a stay here.
