Every time I went in or out I found the front door wasn’t locked. I think another guest was not properly pulling it shut. For a lone female traveller this just made it a bit unsafe feeling. Could hear the neighbour in the house next door coughing a lot- recommend ear plugs.

Could hear noise from the pub till about midnight but it was a Friday and it’s a room in a pub so pretty expected, wouldn’t personally put me off staying again given the decent price of the room

Very clean and well equipped room, easy check-in and afterwards can use separate entrance from the pub for coming and going to the room which is handy, although the pub itself is lovely and staff are welcoming, great beer garden.

Great accommodation and so close to Windsor castle and the shops Good variety of restaurants close by including food trucks most nights and a coffee pop up Mon-Sat Saffron Indian restaurant next door is great. Parking is so close by and at East Berks they only change from 0900 to 2200 so very economical for overnight Would happily stay again

It’s not as “posh” as other places, but in line with price. Better mattresses would be a welcome improvement.

Loved the location, just far enough from the really busy area but still walkable. Had more of a local feel vs touristy, which we loved. Loved having drinks with folks in the bar.

The cost of parking £21.40 no fault of the hotel.

The location was perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room had everything you needed plus a hairdryer. Beds were comfy and shower was lovely. Not too far from main area of Windsor but far enough away from all the hustle and bustle.

The bathroom was quite small but ok.

Comfortable room, good location only a short walk from the centre and with several restaurants nearby, as well as the pub. Parking was possible on the street outside the hotel. Hotel was easy to find when driving.

Location and room were exactly what we wanted. It was lovely to be shown to our room on arrival (and have our cases carried) by friendly staff. We had a few drinks in the pub below and were very happy.

Location was great. Staff was friendly n helped to carry baggage up stairs. Rm is spacious n comfy. Walking distance to Windsor Castle n surrounded by many eateries

If i had to say something maybe the fact that they do not serve food, but you have a Coffee truck Shop in the morning and plenty of restaurant and breakfasts places at 5mn walk so not such a bad things though.. All was great! .

The windsor trooper inn is well situated in Windsor, 5mn walk from the castle, staff really nice and our two bedrooms flat (5 people) was really nice. Beds confortables, bedrloms lovely, we had a very pleasant stay. The must: the garden party where you can drink a glass up till 22h.

It wasn't a problem for us as it was cold and wet when we stayed, but I can imagine the beer garden, right outside the room, would be quite noisy in better weather. Wouldn't recommend this room for families with very young children.

Lovely cosy room, very clean, great location for walking into the city centre, nice pub for a drink and a great Japanese restaurant next door (one of many restaurants within a few minutes walk).

Nothing really, it’s accessed by some steep steps through a door next to the pub Parking is metres up to 2 hours outside, but we found some parking for 4 hours then free from c6 5 minutes walk away
