Not much really. Last time we stayed we had a room at the back so it was quieter. This time our room was at the front so was a bit noisier . Not a problem for us as there’s no drinks served after 11 so it’s quiet by 11.15 .

The location is great . Close to the tube station. It’s got a fantastic beer garden , lovely bar and restaurant. The food is excellent. Breakfasts in particular. I ordered room service one night and even though the restaurant was busy it was with me within 15 minutes, piping hot tomato soup and a portion of hand cooked chips . The beds are comfy and the towels bright white .We’ve stayed a few times and the staff are always helpful and friendly.

The tiles in the shower could really use some updating. In fact, replace the shower cubicles all together. Having said that…the water pressure/temp was fabulous!! Also, some touch ups to the hallways wouldn’t be amiss.

I liked the air conditioning in the room…an unexpected bonus. Also liked the coffee and tea facilities along with milk in the mini bar. Staff were laid back, but approachable. Loved the parking for hotel guests, but would have had more peace of mind being able to book it.

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like, it was a lovely hotel, nicely positioned for getting into central London or exploring around further, it was perfect for what we wanted.

Breakfast was exceptional. Very good quality food that was really well cooked, it all tasted lovely. The hotel is only a few minutes walk away from the tube, which was really convenient. The staff, particularly the guy who checked us in on Friday, and the lady at breakfast on Sunday, we all lovely.

Stayed there to be close to a friend- great location. Right on Clapham common and above the pub! Very central to cafes, restaurants, the station. Easy access to rented bicycles! Very clean and the double room was surprisingly big for London with a view of the park from our window! Nice toiletries and espresso machine in the room with cookies was a special touch ☺️

Two main suggestions to improve - fridge in room was slightly defective as the door inserts were broken. Also, the shower and tiles may have needed a better clean in corners for cleanliness. Little bit of mould on ceiling from the shower so just a tiny bit of paint over job.

Excellent stay. Clean and beautiful hotel and bar on thr ground floor. The staff went above and beyond to check everything was okay. Very satisifed. Our remote in the room was not working - they tried to fix it late at night and due to not being able to fix it, they then refunded us part of the room rate. We appreciated this and demonstrated they cared about customer service and experience. I think this should be a 4*.

Lady working in restaurant at breakfast who seated us and took our drinks and breakfast order was seen several times with her hands down her trousers and very obvious - not so great to see this in the restaurant but I will say I think she was an expectant mother and perhaps unwell .

Cute rooms and very well thought out in a nice location love the hotel is attached to the pub. Amazing snacks and well stocked fridge (which you pay for of course) tea and coffee comes with room . Awesome shower and toiletries are good quality in the room. Breakfast was lovely too - cooked breakfast highly recommend! Staff at front desk reception are super personal and will do anything for you - will 100% return again.

I booked this room for my mother who has mobility issues. The Staff were charming, accommodating and helpful. We had a delicious lunch and dinner there. Breakfast too was excellent. The room was beautifully decorated and even the dog got a comfy bed and a doggy hamper.

Nice lively atmosphere next to a park. They have there own (limited) car park. Rooms have a beautiful classic feel. Bar/Restaurant is pub style.
