Does need updating and a lick of paint. But, as stated, it is £60 a night......so really, you can't expect much more than it is.

Central, cheap and cheerful. It's £60 a night for two people, so don't expect The Ritz. Free Netflix, good shower. Recommend The March Hare for breakfast.

We were very disappointed to find out that they didn't do breakfast, this was despite us booking on these terms some time ago. It shows meal times on our booking, it also says it is a gastro pub on their FB page but it is not. When questioned, the member of staff blamed Booking.com but surely the pub should have informed us. He did point out the advert for Cooplands on the back of the door for their any 6 items breakfast. Had we known there was no breakfast, we would have booked elsewhere. There seemed to be a slight lack of care with the room. It was clean, but one or two areas needed a dust. The light shade was lop-sided, curtains needed more hooks so they hung better, no soap in the shower dispenser, just a few little niggles that in my mind should haven't been there in the first place. It is a pub, but when your booking price includes a breakfast, it's fair to assume that's what you should get, we didn't as they don't serve food at all which is not reflected in their advertising. If there was a breakfast, we'd have no problem with staying here again when you take everything into account

A good pub, friendly staff, made welcome by the locals/regulars and a nice pint. Generally speaking, the room was OK with a very comfortable bed.

Steep metal steps in a secluded carpark to get to the room on an evening. Very noisy from traffic early morning. Staff a bit abrupt.

Ideal location in the centre of market rasen. Would say it’s a taxi ride really to the races. Car park a huge bonus.
