Great room, really clean and lots of little touches such as drinks, biscuits and toiletries. Breakfast was delicious.

Our room was just a little bit noisy at times, as the road directly beside was quite busy for a small village.

Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfasts, comfy room - we loved the fact that our coffee, water, biscuits etc were restocked every day. A really nice place to stay with lovely atmosphere and beautiful surrounding countryside, in a village with good amenities.

Room felt a little expensive for the size but was nice decorated and appointed.

Breakfast was lovely. Staff were very helpful, even though a bit overwhelmed by all guests appearing for breakfast at the same time.

Very often at breakfast we were served with more than we asked for. As an example I asked for one egg on a one piece of toast and I was served with two eggs on two pieces of toast. I ate them rather than it being wasted but since I was facing a drive of 250 miles I did not want a full stomach. I also would have liked some fruit available on the breakfast menu. This did not spoil our stay.

The White Lion lived up to our expectations in all respects and exceeded in some areas. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

The room was a little on the small side for a 4 night stay - the bathroom door banged into the bed when opened. I’m sure this will eventually cause damage to the door or bed frame. The coffee machine in our room didn’t work properly. Staff very kindly changed it for us but that didn’t work either! Possibly time to upgrade these machines?!

The location was perfect for a first time visit to the island. All the staff we came across were fantastic & could not have been anymore helpful. Breakfasts & the one evening meal we had here were lovely.

There appeared to be some supply problems with the dinner menu. For instance, no steaks or pork belly available either of the nights that we dined in. Location wise, we were unable to get a cab on the final evening. Possibly because we were there before main holiday season had started.

Very comfortable room, coffee machine and kettle, bottles of water replaced each day. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good.

I don't think there is anything we didn't like - we have pretty simple needs. Worth knowing that the room we had was compact, so if you prefer lots of space, chairs to sit on etc - you need to ask for a larger room,

Excellent location, especially for the event start location we were participating in. Easy to reach from the Ferry and plenty of parking. Food was wonderful; we had a delicious dinner and breakfast, staff were super helpful. Room was clean, bathroom was spotless and seemed brand new. Room even had aircon - unheard of even in expensive hotels in London. Wish we could have stayed for longer. Bed was probably softer than we would prefer - but it was warm and comfy nonetheless.

The music from the bar was quite loud but as the pub closes at 10, that wasn't a problem.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room, although small was well appointed.Both dinner and Breakfast were excellent. All in all a nice place to stay.

The room was a little on the small side because the door to the en-suite shower room hit the end of the bed when opened. The shower did not have a hose, only a fixed rain head. The window was rather difficult to open and close and let rain in if left ajar.

The room was clean and comfortable and the English breakfast was excellent. The parking provision was also very good and the staff were friendly.

There’s a private entrance / exit our keycard worked on incase the pub was shut and we wanted to get in and out of our room. Door took a little bit of a slam or shove to open and close, but this is more of a nitpick and if that’s my only complaint then it’s not much of a complaint. Place was very good.

I had a good phone call before booking. We got a phone call the night before checking what time we’d be arriving to make sure someone was around to greet us. My partner struggles to find gluten free options and the offerings were suspiciously good so she didn’t feel left out of options because she was gluten free. The bed was comfy, breakfast was diving and the shower was amazing.

My favourite accommodation of the trip! Staff were friendly but not overbearing, made up the extra bed for me, there was a little shop right nearby, the village was really pretty, shower was also excellent, breakfast gorgeous!

Just need to say there is a steep indoors stair case to the rooms, just incase a person is unable to climb the stairs. We did know we were on the 1st floor as the property had informed us.

The manager and all the staff we saw were very helpful. We had dinner there and it was excellent along with the breakfast which was included. The room was very clean and adequate for our 2 night stay.
