My room was at the front and it was noisy, would probably request a room at the back next time

The room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly

A lovely overnight stop in a typical English pub with a great restaurant attached

Nothing, it was an older style pub which we were expecting, the car park was a bit of a squeeze for our hire car but otherwise no complaints

we needed a one night stay prior to us driving to the outer Hebrides....rooms were comfy, downstairs restaurant was a real bonus and excellent for an early morning breakfast....

There were quite a lot of stairs

The hotel is a short distance from the Zoo and on the bus route to the airport. The room was lovely and a good size. Staff were friendly. Dispute being busy in the pub, the food and drink were served quickly after ordering on the app. The same was true for breakfast which is not in the room rate but available in the pub.

The personal from reception was unpolite. The bathroom - difficult to use the shower The bed was too tiny, even if it was a double bed

The room/towels were clean and very close to the bus stations.

The largest room I've been for the last couple of years travelling, super clean, comfortable beds, bus stop to city center, to airport or to Glasgow, is right next to the hotel. Restaurant is great.

Had a room at front so could hear traffic in early morning. One day seemed really busy so get a back room if light sleeper. Had a double room with a small double bed. Okay but used to more room and room was plenty big enough for bigger bed.

Excellent location. 20 min bus ride to Edinburgh centre on well serviced route, even at night for a late night concert out. A few other shops and restaurants around if needed. That said Wetherspoons have plenty of food options and excellent beer choice. Best value around. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Near the Zoo and Murrayfield but all other attractions within a bus ride. Even went to seaside at Portobello on bus that goes past hotel for £2.00 each way

    no complaints.

Room was comfortable & Clean. A little diappointed as attic room with just roof velux windows with no view, but the up side was it was nice & quiet. Breakfast was optional in the bar and was great value as per normal witherspoons menu. Location great for bus into city centre. We appreciated getting a space for car in car park.

It’s just a pity no lift.

Size of the room was great, very clean, bottled water. The room was quiet and the staff lovely. The night porter carried my bag up to the first floor for me.

There are no lifts so no disabled access.

Lovely stay for one night with one of the better Wetherspoons pubs on the lower floor, enjoy a foaming pint of ale here and you might not leave! I was on the second floor at the front of the hotel but barely heard the traffic outside (the foaming ales may have helped)!

Hard to find anything negative, stairs are a bit of a killer to the second floor, not sure why as we are pretty fit

Great location in nice part of the city. Easy 20min bus ride from Waverley. Lovely room, super comfortable bed and pillows and nice welcome tray including bottles of water and biscuits. The pub itself is nice with pleasant outdoor area at the front. Couldn't fault if, would choose it over Travelodge or Premier Inn.
