Definitely need a new loo brush in our room . Although it was no problem for our party I could imagine noise from downstairs in pub could upset some people but there again why book a room in a busy pub 🍻 if it does. A few cobwebs in room but we soon knocked them down.

We had booked the small room, but the en-suite shower was particularly tight.

Lovely traditional pub with character, ideally placed with very friendly and helpful staff. Food was lovely with generous servings particularly the breakfast.

The room had restricted head height, which made it impossible for my tall husband to stand up.

Room was clean, pub was great, breakfast was amazing. When you first get into the room you come in to the bathroom first, quirky but I loved that.

What was disappointing was that breakfast (which was included with the stay) did not start until 9am which seems very late for a weekday! I did want breakfast, but in the end needed to leave before it was served. That's the only reason I've marked this stay down - because I had to leave hungry.

The inn, staff and room were lovely. Cosy, interesting room with comfy bed and spotlessly clean.

The hotel side of the business was very good, comfortable and the staff really accommodating and friendly. The food was superb and really excellent value. He chef was brilliant and made excellent dinners (I recommend the Ribs) and breakfast was outstanding.

The shower didn’t work very well and no lifts to lug suitcases up stairs

The double bed was tiny and having an XL husband it wasn’t great, we needed the fan on all night as it was very hot 🥵 very noisy, needs replacing 👍🏻

Location fantastic - short walk into town for shops etc. and playing golf at Singing Hills 👍🏻 great food at the The Horse, the Gyros was fab - missed brekkie as an early tee time but they offered a pack lunch - brilliant

The shower grouting need cleaning has a build up of black mould

16th century building it was beautiful with beams and many original features

The weather was quite unseasonably cold and the room was also quite cold.

Very pretty, tastefully decorated and well-equipped Inn from the 16th Century. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and bedside reading lights. The bathroom was a decent size with a bath/shower. Breakfast was very tasty and substantial.

Breakfast was only being served after 9am, however a packed lunch was provided as an alternative. There was no iron available.

Nicely appointed room with comfy bed in a 16th century country pub that had lots of great features. Excellent food served in the pub restaurant, with helpful, friendly staff onsite.
