We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaGreat location with easy street parking. Room was clean and quiet, and the bed super comfortable. The breakfast bag to take on the early ferry the next day was also a nice touch. Emma and Chris in the bar downstairs were friendly and welcoming.

United StatesI couldn’t leave my luggage after checkout but others were also dragging luggage around and no rain so it was fine.
It’s quaintness, location and extreme cleanliness and comfort. I loved the writing nook/ledge at the little bay window with two chairs and a view of the sea just over the building tops. Felt very Austin/Bronte- like. Perfect coming from Iona. Check in is at 3. I got there at 2:15 and found the owner at their beer garden around the corner and he let me in the room and helped with luggage.

United StatesThe location was great as we could walk everywhere. A short walk to the ferry and town. The rooms were small but manageable. Also, they were very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was nice having the pub on the main floor. We would recommend staying at The Whiskey Vaults!

CanadaThis was not an issue for us however, there is no elevator and the stairs are quite steep. Just a heads up if this is a possible issue for you.
Room was spacious, updated and very clean. Owner (John) was lovely and helpful giving recommendations for restaurants, both suggestions were tried and excellent.

ItalyThere wasn't any parking provided (which we were aware of) but the receptionist didn't really go above and beyond to help us, she sounded a bit clueless. I guess more help would've been appreciated, since the town can get very very busy and finding parking isn't that easy. We managed anyway so all good in the end :) I still think the room was super pricey, we really liked it but the price was very expensive for just a double room
