Disappointing, apart from the helpful Receptionist.

    • Standard Double Room with Shared Bathroom

The drawer under the tea/coffee maker was full of crumbs. No teaspoon! Sharing bathroom facilities not ideal as it depends upon other guests to be considerate to others, and not all were. The fully self-service breakfast was chaos and consisted mainly of carbohydrates - factory rolls probably full of preservatives - and no meat or egg selection.

The receptionist, Brendan I think his name was, couldn't have been more helpful. He is an asset to the hotel. The bedding was clean and comfortable.

Very noisy from the street, bed needs an upgrade, mould in bathroom, carpets worn. Street works jack hammer, commenced at midnight - not that the hotel can do much . Not well cleaned , dusty.

Hot shower, location is handy. Breakfast was ok.

    The loud music till 2am.

Location is excellent. I stayed there twice first with my son had to share a bathroom but it was very last minute so that was OK. Second stay by myself with my own bathroom. Only problem on Saturday night the club across the street was playing music extremely loud. Couldn't sleep. I would stay at the Waverly again.

For the price I could not seriously demand more than I got !! In the Bermuda Triangle of Tourist Rip offs that is Inverness / Ullapool and Skye this place is a bargain !!

OK...This is not Claridges or The Balmoral . There are no chocolates.on the pillow or Organic hand crafted toiletries BUT I got a spotless clean room in the centre of Inverness for around £60....the guy on reception was polite and had GSOH . I've stayed here before and had some " eventful " nights but this time was peaceful and quiet. !! My advice ? Go For it !!

I've stayed in rooms with no wardrobes before - Ibis and the like - but never a room without as much as a single perfunctory hook! Literally nowhere to put your clothes and no stand or raised surface of any kind to put your case on. Bathroom mirror placed so far down that you can't shave there, as you have to stoop down and block the light above with your own shadow. Unpleasant smell when I opened the window. Main bugbear the appalling noise from the pub across the street. Astonishing that local residents put up with it!

Handy location for the station and the centre. The staff were friendly for the brief time they were there. CCTV is all very well, but no substitute for having someone on site, particularly at night, given that any rowdy inebriated punter from the noisy all-hours pub across the road could simply breeze in any time they liked through the unlocked door. The breakfast was OK, though had to bolt it down the second day, as I didn't realise it finished earlier on working days.

We had a twin room that was very small, hardly room for two people with cases to move, wouldn’t like to have stayed more than one night, would have made a fine single room. The shower didn’t drain and was filling with water so showering had to be aborted. My hand towel had a dirty mark on it so I didn’t use it.

It was near the train station and we had an early train. Although breakfast only started at 7:30 it was laid out early and we were able to have something which we did appreciate. Bed was comfortable.

Right beside a bar that was playing karaoke until the early hours. Incredibly loud and for £70 for the night. Stayed at a hotel in Aberdeen for the cost of £40 and was the same proximity to the station.

Woken early in the morning by elderly male manager holding a staff meeting right outside my door at 7am! I complained, asking them to quieten, they acknowledged me but continued till 8am! As I was leaving the elderly manager that was passing by visiting was speaking loudly with the with no privacy about the staff and paid breaks for the staff! 🤷🏼 He then drove off! Very unprofessional and extremely irritating experience!

The location was central! Good breakfast served!
