Extensive and exceptional breakfast buffet but one of our cooked breakfasts was poor due to burnt and greasy scrambled eggs.

Location was good as a stop off after the ferry from Ireland and the drive back to London. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were courteous and helpful. Evening meal was good. Large car park.

we didn't like that we were put in the bar the second morning for breakfast . My relative is not good on her legs and we had to keep walking backwards and forwards even though there were free tables in the dining room

Our room was above a wedding reception taking place that afternoon/evening, so a combination of loud music & loud guests didn't lead to a paticularly "quiet" night . . .

Breakfast was very good & plentiful. Hotel location was great for Holyhead & ferries or for touring Anglesey.

My only negative was that my room was a bit noisy because of the extractor of the kitchen. Just meant having to have the window closed at night. Wasn’t a deal breaker by any means.

The hotel was conveniently located, was clean, welcoming and had loads of parking.

Coffee just warm, some of the cooked breakfast iems were a bit greasy (hashbrown). Poached egg could have been drained better as my plate was a bit wet.

Arrived after midnight, gained entry without any issues, beds very comfortable, good selection at breakfast.

Breakfast on 2nd morning was poor. No milk, no bread. Took over 10 mins for hot food to be ordered. I had to find staff to get this done, once they all got off there phones. Disappointed and annoyed.

Have used the Valley many times as it suits us for location and amenities.

Bathroom in the room needs updating and a refresh. Otherwise it was great!

Great location in the countryside, but Holyhead is easily accessible by both rail and bus. Lovely staff that freshened up the room every day. Restaurant is really great and uses locally sourced ingredients.

Deeper clean as there was visible dust and cobwebs. Shower awful needs updating no shelf to put toiletries.

The staff obliging and most are friendly. We asks to move and was offered to go and have a look at another room and we did swap due to noise and awful mattress. Breakfast cooked well to order with a lot of choice. Staff a bit absent as you had to go looking for them to top up milk water juice bread but they did respond.

I was quite happy with my room even though the window was "painted over" so you couldn't see outside. It was also not possible to open the window - which meant you couldn't get any fresh air. It was a little noisy in that you could hear other guests walking down the passageway, shutting doors etc. This didn't particularly bother me - but it was quite noticeable. The lighting in the room could be improved.

I was impressed with the staff who were all very pleasant and helpful. I also thought the breakfast was very good. It included the option of a full Welsh breakfast, but there was also fruit, cereals, pasties, toast, yoghurt etc. Since Valley is a small village with only one other pub, it's not surprising that many guests opt to have dinner at the hotel - and this was also done well, with an attractive menu including starters, main dishes and several "lighter bite" options.
