Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWell, a few things could've been better. No microwave in room. The bathroom was not designed to function comfortably. Very little space to put anything and no hooks to dry towels or shelf to put soap/shampoo etc that you bring. Also, my friends staying at a different hotel (in London for 1st time) wanted to see what my room looked like. They are a married couple in their sixties, but the hotel has a strict policy of no guests. Not even for a minute, so if your a single person not the place if socializing.
Location was excellent with quick access to the Earl's Court Station. Bed was comfortable and room was not especially large, but not tiny like some that I've stayed at before. Everything worked fine in the room. Breakfast was sufficient but not great. No hot foods but yogurt, bread, cold cuts, cheese, hard boiled eggs.

United KingdomThe bathroom certainly on the small size.
The hotel wasn't that far from Earls Court Underground. I was nicely welcomed when I first arrived. My room was on the first floor which I was able to get to very easily using the lift. It was such a lovely size for a single room with a comfy bed too, which I slept well in. There is breakfast but I had to leave early for work. I certainly would be stay here again.

FinlandOnly down side was the room location, having heavy suitcase and needed to climb stairs with it to get into the room.
Twin room was spacious, mine overlooked Earl's Court Station. Location is great, only few minute walk to station and you're connected very well around the city. Lots of bars, restaurants, grocery stores and all you need just around the corner. Nice breakfast to start your day. Friendly staff.

IsraelOut of the one time I asked me room to be clean, it was really disheartening that the bed sheets weren't replaced, but only stretched.
The room was great- it had a nice view to the street, really quiet and charming. Plus, the location was great- 2 minutes walk to the metro and next to 3 lines as well ! ( one of the lines operates at night )

United KingdomRoom was very warm but I couldn’t work out the system very well so probably my own fault Breakfast was fresh and simple Unfortunately a rude lady dining in the breakfast room with her family came over to our table told my 5 year old to turn his iPad off! It wasn’t even that loud as well. We turned it right down but was made to feel uncomfortable.

United KingdomThe room was small but adequate. At least we could put our luggage down, as was the ensuite. There was nowhere to put things down in the ensuite except a very narrow shelf, or in the shower cubicle. Nor was there a towel rail, so towels were sitting on the loo! The mattress was a little too soft, and since there was only one stool, one of us had to sit on the bed. We really did miss having chairs to sit on after a day out, but really there was no room for chairs. Perching on the bed is not our 'thing'. There was no communal lounge to relax in. The other thing that irritated us was a narrow shelf on the wall opposite the end of the bed above which was the tv. With very little room at the end of the bed we bumped into the corner of that shelf so many times, and I was really worried about my husband getting up in the night and hurting himself.
Superb location -close to very accessible underground station with two useful tube lines. Also a local high street with shops, pubs, places to eat etc. Our spotless room appeared to have been recently refurbished and good quality. Good roomy shower. Also air conditioning. There was a very useful full length mirror with a hairdryer next to it. There was access to both sides of the bed. There was a lift. Breakfast was continental style with plenty of variety and was constantly replenished. We did not have any problem finding a free table-early or late. The staff were all helpful, efficient and friendly.

NetherlandsFirst we were given a room in the souterrain; although the room was spacious, it felt a bit claustrophobic due to the lack of a decent window (was a very small window). The second room they offered was ok, but very small beds (we are not that tall and barely fitted) and also small shower room. Was clean and ok, just very small space.
Great location close to the underground. Friendly and helpfull staff. Decent breakfast.

PolandVisible wear on carpets and furniture, minor bathroom damage (shower door hinge, toilet flush button), could improve cleaning. Room is very small, with a narrow (140cm) double bed. Very slow internet (2/4 Mbits, forget your Netflix stream).
Ideal location near tube station, delicious breakfast, courteous staff, and quiet street.

RomaniaI expect it to be more spacious. The room was a single bed, it’s quite small. Also the bathroom was super small, there was a smell of humidity in it ( even if it was clean). I would have love to have gluten and lactose free options for the breakfast. No hair shampoo.
The location, the surroundings are great, not noisy at all . There is an underground station at 5 min away directly to Victoria station, easy to access. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets around. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed comfortable. A closet to store your belongings, a small table with electrical wire so you can charge the phone easily and a chair, bed light. My window was to the street I could enjoy the view. There is an elevator and welcoming staff. The reception is open 24/7.
