There was nothing negative to say really about this stay.

The location of the hotel was ideal as close to the town centre and attractions. The Breakfast was lovely and very good value for money. All the staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for any one of them that we came into contact with during our stay

A gorgeous townhouse in an ideal location and easily accessible by public transport from the rail station. A fab breakfast and beautiful interior plus a small garden area with tables and chairs. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a small bathroom and accessed via staircases. TV and tea/coffee making facilities provided plus daily small bottles of water.

For those with mobility issues, the stairs may be challenging. The major downside of the hotel is that if you're in one of the top rooms, the heat can be oppressive in hot weather. There is no air-conditioning, so on warm nights you have to have the window open and that means allowing in a lot of noise from the main road below. To drown the noise and to circulate the air, we requested a fan which was immediately provided. Due to the limited space in the room, the bathroom had rather an unusual arrangement whereby the toilet was positioned in front of the basin. Never seen that before!

The biggest asset for this hotel is the staff: they're very friendly. The hotel is located in the town centre and so everything of note is within a short walk. The breakfast was good and there were no problems with the wifi. But be aware that it's an open network so one could question how secure it is.

From Lucy on reception booking us in to checking out everything was perfect. The breakfast choice was very good. The room was very large with an excellent shower. Location was very central with many restaurants and bars close to the hotel.

I like my coffee so maybe a decent coffee machine in the room. I didn't notice if there was a tv down in the bar/lounge area so maybe that could be a thing.

The hotel has a very modern, clean feel to it and it smells lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was in excellent condition, very clean and welcoming. The bathroom facilities were great with a clean and powerful shower. We hadn't planned to have breakfast there but are glad we did, it was great, don't miss out. As for the location, it was just a short walk to the centre or river.

The lack of on-site parking irritating, and the nearest public parking is not that close.

Delightful staff, always helpful and cheerful. Our apartment was spacious and of a high standard. The location could not be bettered for the town centre. The bar is very good, with plenty of seating, inside and out. The cooked breakfast was excellent and great value for money.

There was nothing we didn't like

We enjoyed everything! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the apartment we stayed in was great - plenty of room, clean, modern and had everything we needed. The hotel itself was beautiful and facilities were good. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Thank you for a lovely experience. Chester is a beautiful place and we had a lovely weekend there.

Rooms lovely, bar, outside seating, restaurant very good, staff professional and helpful. Left some keys in the room and they called to return them. Good location in city centre.
