Whilst we had no problem with the parking with few there, this could be difficult if full.

The owner, whilst not on site, is always contactable. The breakfast, in the pleasant kitchen diner, was therefore DIY continental with lots of choice including a bowl of fresh fruit. It felt like a home from home which we appreciated. I wouldn't choose to share a bathroom but in our case this was no problem as everywhere was very clean and there was plenty of soap, toilet rolls etc. The house was warm and our room was spacious and comfortable. There was a generosity of spirit and trust of guests in this B&B that I feel is rare in current times.

Excellent communication, very helpful and understanding staff. Location is very central, for me it was just perfect. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked, self service and was open 24/7, so I could have breakfast early in the morning, without any limitation.

The food left in the fridge overnight on plates needs some type of cover for them someone left a curry and when you opened the door it hit you

It was near to the supermarket, rooms were nice and big, breakfast was help yourself and that was fine. Shower rooms were both large and bright.

Stayed at the Townhouse while working on a tour stopping at the Aylesbury Waterside theatre - the B & B was only a ten-minute walk away so was fantastic and would highly recommend to touring crews. There's a big Tesco essentially in the back garden, and plenty of smaller shops and places to eat just up the road. It was quite expensive but I'll blame myself for that as I booked late.

There were no gas stoves in kitchen.

Breakfast could have been better. It would be nice if you could keep gas stove so guests would be able to make food for themselves sometimes.

As a handicapped person the convenience of a shower or bath was a flight up which was difficult for me and it is shared and to use the toilet was several stairs down near the door to the back yard. And to come off the street to get to the front door there are no railings to help me up or down. This is not a place for handicapped people -period. I have osteoarthritis in both knees so walking is difficult. And carry luggage along with that is also difficult.

I had a first floor room facing the street and a cemetery across the way. It had a tv and and an extra bed.

Disappointed for the inconvenience a handicapped endures

For a handicapped person like myself who has issues with my knees. To go take a shower was a flight up, to use the loo was steps down, to have breakfast was further steps down. And going up the front steps did not help either. So, for people who want to navigate such an arrangement without any issues this is perfect for you. It helps to have a car too. Town is a distance and I only have walking sticks. And a very slow walker. Had to use a cab instead.

I was given a large room with two beds in it and a view at a church and cemetery. Also not too far from the front steps.

The decor and soft furnishings are quite dated, especially the bedding. I noticed quite a lot of cobwebs throughout the property although I acknowledge cobwebs can be hard to prevent.

Good location and easy to find. Comfortable bed and as we were on the top floor, we had a lovely view from the top window. Good for parking and great that the tesco was right behind the B&B. We forgot to call Tracey 30 minutes before we arrived but when we called her to check in, it was easy and smooth. Nice selection of bread, cereals, pastries and fruit available for breakfast.

He complained of the heat and scourge of humidity at the time of the visit. The night was better. The availability of a table fan could have helped a little.

My friend was impressed by the quality and quantity of breakfast on display. He enjoyed his time at the B and B.

There was nothing I did not like about The Townhouse nor anything whatsoever to complain about. Tracey has been letting rooms for 20 years. It shows with her super polished service.

Tracey the land lady was on hand to meet us and to show us around . She provided all the need to know information about the house the town and Terminal 2 at Heathrow which is handily really close by and easily accessible. The communal kitchen and dining room in the B+B is spacious and well stocked with all one needs for a hearty continental breakfast. The rooms were really comfortable and beautifully kept. There are two communal bathrooms which are well appointed and work as required . Great showers and Tracey thoughtfully provides shower gels. I liked the large victorian wash hand basin and shaving light over the mirror which worked ! Finally a B+B with a good strong wi-fi signal and all the streaming channels on TV are provided free. Nice touch ! I had two rooms and thought both were great value. We'll be back ! Steve Pryor
