A beautiful hotel in a central location, free on-site parking, fantastic breakfast and large well equipped rooms. Would return next time in Magherafelt.

The hotel rooms need an update. The breakfast wasn't great quality.

The breakfast was nice. Good options, included full breakfast and also things like pancakes. The room was comfortable, bed was also easy to sleep on. The location was quiet and centrally located. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The water from the shower was running quite slow, but the water was piping hot so can’t complain!

The hotel was clean, staff were really friendly, there was free on site parking - when you check in staff ask for your registration/description of your car so if there’s any issues they know who to tell - We had and evening meal which was superb and breakfast was included in the price, you got a hot breakfast and access to unlimited continental options too. I wish we were staying longer! The bed is so so comfy I wish I could have it for home.

The property was dirty and as was the room. The bathroom was home to insects and floor was grotty and old. The facilities in the room (lamp, kettle) did not work. No one answered calls when phoning reception and upon arrival, reception was empty as staff were expected to cover the bar are. All in all very disappointed and it is an absolute rip off in terms of value for money. Would never stay here again.

The room was too warm, had no options to cool room, opened window, traffic noise kept me awake, breakfast - my omelette somewhat disappointingly sloppy

Checking-in was straightforward, and the room was very clean, spacious, bed was comfortable, and tea facilities were great. Food at the restaurant was decent, and staff members were very friendly and ready to assist. The parking facilities were great (had a feeling there was no security though), and the location of the venue is very centralised! It was slightly expensive for where it is!

Drive group tours around the country and affordable places with plenty of parking are few and far between but the Terrace Hotel was perfect for me, food was spot on also

How noisy it was

Room was fine, breakfast was ok! Nothing special. Room location was rubbish, was like we were sat in a club all night long with the sound of music coming from all around

The cleanliness was below expectations and basic standards. There were massive cobwebs around the room and even a huge insect sitting on a wall when I entered the room. I had no choice but to change the room past midnight because of the wasp inside. There was also a lack of a coffee machine which is a standard in any hotel nowadays. On top of that, the allocation of the room was misjudged. Travelling solo, I was given the room with at least 2 beds which was unnecessary and as a result, very expensive. It wasn’t value for my money, I’m afraid. The staff were friendly but, disappointingly, the conditions were very poor.

The fan never stopped in the room we were staying in and I had to remove the card to keep the electricity flowing to knock off the fan when we were sleeping which was a disaster. The breakfast was tiny one sausage I’ve never seen the likes of it to be honest. The hotel had some bonus points it was really quiet and relaxing

Friendly staff. Perfect town-centre location with parking. Brilliant room. . Clean and comfortable. Can't speak about the breakfast, only had cereal and toast. Could have had cooked but not my thing!

room quality could have been better. hole in the wall where the desk had been pushed into it. water stains all over the bathroom ceiling from a previous leak. shower handle fell off. no lighting in stairwells or hallways at night.

rooms were very dated. bar was a little dirty along with the lifts. beds were extremely uncomfortable.
