There wasn’t anything we disliked. We could hear traffic noise but as it’s an inn the property’s on a main road so you expect some noise. It wasn’t intrusive.

We loved the people! Stu and Lucy were both really friendly and welcoming. The food and service were great. We loved the room and the en-suite. Everything was pristine, the bed was comfortable and the shower powerful.

Breakfast doesn’t start until 7:30 which was disappointing as I needed to leave around 7:15. However, the staff did provide me with a substantial breakfast box to take with me which was much appreciated.

Comfortable bed in a good sized room. Lovely shower and all the usual facilities. An enjoyable evening meal in the restaurant - especially the cheesecake dessert!

Nothing. It was perfect for our needs.

The size and comfort of the rooms. A good size and well appointed. Ironing boards handily placed. Bottled water in room was a nice touch. The staff were easy with themselves and comfortable with guests. Not obtrusive but readily available. Excellent kitchen for both breakfast and evening meals.

It fronts onto a main road but that didn’t detract from our stay. Being picky but we would happily go again.

The room was excellent, very clean, well appointed and we got a free upgrade upon arrival. We were allowed to check in early too. The Inn itself was great, the food excellent. The staff , from the landlord, Stuart ( who doubled up as chef !! ) and all the staff had a professional, friendly, outgoing and helpful attitude, the standard of hospitality was excellent at all times

The evening meal we had was excellent and well above a normal pub standard. Also breakfast was good and the rooms were clean and perfectly adequate. The owner was very helpful when needed which was greatly appreciated.

The enormous Siemans facility in the back. Huge structure with bright lights at night. Spoils the old building. What a shame the city let them build this here. Terrible idea. Ridiculous really.

Should have stayed a day or two longer

The staff could not be more helpful, they went beyond what was expected and looked after us very well. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Oxford. It only a short bus trip into town, the bustop is only 150 metre away, leave the car in their car park and just commute.
