We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

BrazilI was told about the famous fry up name after the owner was good but this was not on the menu and I would have to pay extra.
The food was fine, the room nice and decorated well. I would suggest that a room further from the pub side be asked for if you want quite in the evening but this was not a big problem and if I had known I would ask for this as I intend to stay there again.

The Swan is a clean and friendly Hotel ,ideally located for Winchester and the Watercress Heritage Railway The Weald and Downland Museum and Goodwood are just over an hour away Arlesford is a great area to explore

United KingdomThe sound proofing of our room (19) could have been better as we could hear neighbours talking, doors along the corridor slamming etc. This was no particular problem until our last night, which turned into a bit of a disaster. This began with the fire alarm going off at 1am, apparently triggered by a guest from a drunken wedding party smoking in their room. The staff on duty seemed to have little idea how to stop the alarm. The noise was compounded by a fire engine turning up and a seemingly noisy argument taking place below our room. Then things got worse as people from the wedding party were next to us and carried on chatting noisily until at least 4am. We suggest that when large parties have booked in to the hotel, other guests are accommodated separately. If anything can be done to improve the soundproofing in the rear building, then it should be looked at.
This was a nice central location, providing a good breakfast and with friendly staff

We loved staying just on the outskirts of Winchester away from the hustle and bustle! There was great car parking even though they don’t advertise it, we had the best evening meal here it was amazing , and we have had alwuite a few over the last few weeks!! Highly recommend
