Great location, attentive host John, and beautiful garden to relax in. Lovely little touches of water by the bedside, variety of teas, coffee, and little sweets. They provide a fantastic breakfast choice also. The location has charm and is on the doorstep of Maspie Den woodland walks.

Everything! The location, the exquisite garden, the walks through the forest, the beautiful deli and cake shops, the adorable handcrafted goods for sale across the road, the Palace next door. If you are looking to stay in a beautiful property in a delightful village, this is for you.

The Studio is in a stunning location, with local amenities on your doorstep and places to visit close by. A prime location for 'Outlander' fans. The Studio itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simply amazing and really sets you up for the day. John, the owner was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would recommend The Studio at Maspie House 100% and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 😊

Store/bar/restaurants didn’t have open as their sign said. There was very limit possibilities in town and food was hard to find!

Had an amazing stay at Maspie House. The hosts had thought of everything with amazing wee finishing touches! The location was a superb, secluded and private, just what we needed! The gardens were beautiful and a perfect location to sit and relax!

The location is very unique and idyllic. The host could not be more welcoming and the attention to the wee touches really made the trip. We will definitely return to the property.

Not a thing!

Everything! The space was very cozy and private, but still very spacious. The garden in the back was beautiful, and all the accommodations inside were wonderful as well. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the hosts couldn’t have been more gracious and kind.

There is nothing not to like!

Beautiful location tucked away beside Falkland palace. I cannot speak highly enough of Maspie House studio. It is exceptional - understated luxury, attentive yet not intrusive hosts who have anticipated your every need. A little piece of heaven in the Kingdom of Fife, nestling at the foot of the Lomond Hills. Scottish hospitality at its very best.

Lovely decor, gorgeous gardens, wonderful hosts, good breakfast, charming town relatively close to a lot of historical locations in London the area. We stayed two days but could stay much longer and use it as a base.

We had a great stay at the studio, we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area to stay here. Lovely room with a great view onto the old palace & a lovely breakfast!

This was our favourite B&B during our two week trip traveling around Scotland. The room is exactly as pictured and it was very clean and welcoming. The breakfast was superb. You have options like fresh fruit bowls, yogurt with honey, warm croissants, homemade granola and more. The Studio has access to a beautiful private garden with a view of Falkland Castle. You can also see the Castle through the Studio's expansive skylight windows. It was a perfect place to spend time while we enjoyed the beautiful, quaint town of Falkland. Highly recommend a stay here. It was perfection. For activities, there is a woodland walk with waterfalls (Maspie Den Trails), two Hills to climb (East and West Lomond Hill Trailheads) and Falkland Castle and Gardens. There are several lovely little cafes for lunch and a pub across the street for dinner. There are also several little stores to meander through.

Top notch hosts, exquisite studio tastefully decorated, amenities provides were the highest standard, breakfast freshly prepared and quite ample, delivered when you wished. Beautiful garden area to enjoy, excellent central Location to this charming town.

Breakfast quality and choice was excellent.it was served in our room with a smile and on time. Location in the middle of an historic village and across the road from the pub couldn’t have been better.Nothing !
