Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandThe place due to location and budget is attractive to a breed of loud, boisterous, inconsiderate morons. Was woken at 1 am to idiots, next room shouting and roaring and yelling on their phones who proceeded to take umbrage when I suggested they tone it down a bit. Similarly the property allows people with dogs to stay on the premises. So prepare to be navigating around an angsy German Shepherd in the corridor or working by barking as you're falling asleep.
It was warm It was excellent value for the price The staff were very helpful and the lady at the desk, Nancy I think her name was welcoming and always has a smile on her face.

United KingdomBreakfast was adequate but disappointing. The tea and coffee at breakfast was like British rail, weak and grey. Hash browns appeared stiff and chewy. The dog enjoyed the sausage and I happened to pick a croissant with mold. Toilet in room hadn’t been cleaned as there was urine left as if it hadn’t been flushed and stains.
Location, cheap ish, dog friendly and easy beach access. Staff friendly and kind to dogs and very helpful. Bed clean and comfortable.

United KingdomHotel rather dated needs work but manager is trying to make improvements. Noise in bedroom I think from plumbing system . No evening meal available but bar food which was OK but nothing special. Room only serviced on request. Appeared to be limited staff. Manager and chef very hard working and nothing was too much trouble if requests made .

United KingdomBed a bit uncomfortable, didn't sleep too well but bedroom was clean. It's an old hotel with a lot of space but not many people there (September) so it was a bit quiet.
Breakfast - Standard English Cooked Breakfast, reasonable. Easy to park the car on the Sea Front. Staff were helpful. Price - it was very good value for money. The historical lift with the old metal grill door.
