The bed wasn't comfortable and sunk in the middle - either an issue with the frame or mattress.

The location was great and it was fantastic value for money. It was easy to come and go, and there was parking onsite which was ideal.

Basic accommodation in line with the price

Convenient overnight stay with free parking and easy tram access to Nottingham. Also a very nice bar with great beer choices for a nightcap.

There was only one accessible plug behind the head of the bed. It is impossible to use the hairdryer looking in the room mirror. The bathroom mirror is unusable by anyone under 5ft 8in, as a tall person fitted it to the wall.

the noise coming from downstairs was annoying. It went on till well after 11.30pm

No lift, hence many stairs, which was a negative with us seniors.

Location close to our relatives home. Adequate parking, Old style English Pub House. Nice backyard facilities for all including for children. Huge meals at a very reasonable price level. Was very busy in the evening which indicated the local popularity of the pub.

Mattress on my single bed felt it could do with being replaced. Pillow also a little flat.

The bathroom was very small and the shower was obviously not built for tall people, however these are not complaints because it was very clean and well stocked.

We arrived early and the staff were very helpful, allowing us to get in straight away. The room was large and very clean & tidy. Even though we were over the pub, the noise stopped at 11pm prompt! The place was very close to the centre of Beeston and within easy reach of the centre of Nottingham by the tram which stopped just over the road.

Breakfast was not included. Many hotels do offer breakfast in with a £50 room price and it would have been a good start to our day instead of looking for our own breakfast on our way to our work on this occasion. That being said, The Star Inn was still a good hotel to stay in for the night.

Clean room and bathroom and a large, comfy bed. Tea and coffee facilities as standard. A great location with nearby access to the University. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in the area.

They don't serve breakfast which for me is not a problem. I requested a rear bedroom as they are quieter, however I was given a front room. I found the traffic / trams too noisy. As I booked well in advance I was disappointed.

The room was good, but the bed definitely needs changing . It was concaved in the middle and wasn't very comfortable

Room was extremely clean and comfortable! Loved the pub and garden. For me was a quaint inn within walking distance, tram or bus to so much. Loved it and would definately stay at the Star Inn again!
