Freindly staff, couldn't do enough for us. Restaurant menu was good, food plentiful. All in alk a pleasant experience.

Very tiny roads to get to the Inn. Had to reverse to let others pass... .imagine at night this would be difficult.

If I MUST find something to enter in this box, I'd broaden the non-meat menu - though I appreciate that this might sit oddly in such a rural agricultural setting!

Absolutely one of the most friendly, accomodating, and enjoyable places I've ever stayed. Good food, good ale, good hosts. What a fantastic village setting! Granted, it was a 'special occasion' - the "D-Day 80" Commemoration - that others staying and many of the village had embraced but I'm sure it would be as smashing at any time!

We enjoyed our stay and the hotel fulfilled our expectations, breakfast was good as was our dinner the evening before. An enjoyable stay and good value, would stay there again if the opportunity comes up; great to have plenty of parking.

Great overnight stay in village Pub with rooms above. Good beer, plenty of food choice in the evening, and breakfast cooked to order. Staff were keen to make you feel welcome, despite it being really busy. Thank you.

Some sat nav routes will take you through narrow lanes as in a rural area. I'm OK with that but may put some people off. Being picky here, but there was a slight damp / drain smell in bathroom.

There was nothing to fault.

Upon arrival, we were made to feel very welcome. The staff and even the locals were very friendly and inviting. The facilities were spot on, we had the Blythe room, which had the spa bath in it was exceptional.....from the super king bed, the crisp fresh linens and fluffy towels. The dining/breakfast room was lovely....the food was outstanding and excellent valve for money. Will definitely stay again and have even recommended to family and friends.

Only negative is single track roads around property but wouldn’t let this put us off!!

The heater in the room when plugged in smelt of fish , possibly burning electricity. Informed owner. Spa bath in the room we thought wasn't working informed owner after use and was told had to turn on button to right of door. Wasn't told this on arrival. Button was situated on the left of the door not as stated. Need to switch this on for spa bath to work. Paid extra for bath. Shame instructions weren't clearer

Nice friendly staff. Food was good, evening meal lots of choice. Breakfast lots of choice again. Cooked to order could request what you liked. Room good size, comfortable bed.

Wonderfully warm and friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. Facilities were perfectly clean, comfortable, and adequate for our needs and reasonably priced. We stayed in a twin room with ensuite bathroom. The land lady was most accommodating as we had to cut short our trip due to my sick dog. She cooked us a meal before we left and offered alternative accommodation for us, but he had to head home with my dog. Breakfast was fabulous and had a very inviting choice cooked fresh and hot. Can recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled egg!! We would definitely return if in the area. A nice little find!

Great, pub, all the staff very friendly, great breakfasts, evening meals were tasty and very good value. The atmosphere in the pub was welcoming, definitely recommend. Location in a small village, very pretty and well kept.

Lovely country pub in quiet location, well equipped room with whirlpool bath, very welcoming hosts, great food - both for evening meals and breakfast - and good choice of cask ales. Overall, great value and would thoroughly recommend it!

Lovely location with really friendly owners and staff, fantastic breakfast with lots of choice and cooked to your liking. If in the area will definitely book to stay again. Juliette family room was a great size and beds comfy too.
