Could do with some upgrading but most hotels in the area are the same. Bar was not open downstairs but we werent using it anyway.

Sorry but there was black hairs in every bed,we ended up having insect bites on our legs etc,the pillows where pancakes.it took 20 mins for shower to warm up

When we arrived, there was noone there to welcom us in as it didn't appear to have a reception, when they did come to the door they left me and my daughter stood outside for 20 mins then handed me the key and said if you need anything just let me know. Bar area was not open. The door was locked. The restaurant was not open , if it was, there was no information about it, and none was given at check-in. We wanted to check out, the morning after and there was no one around when I contacted the phone number on a piece of paper stuck to the door they said they had gone out to get a few things. The contact number on bookinging .com is no longer in service, no other numbers are documented should you need someone. Television broke, you could hear it but had no picture and was too late to report it. Bed side lamps also did not work, or I just could not find the switch for them. No parking was available only street parking which there was none had to park about 8mins away and pay for parking. Dressing table looked grubby, with no towels provided and only half a toilet roll. The holes in the wall make it look tired and dated. Lack of people around to ask questions and to deal with things was off-putting.

Price was reasonable for one adult and one child for one night stay.

The whole downstairs of the property including the pool room and stairs was damp smelling, sticky carpets

They didn’t have free parking it was just the street parking, the TV didn’t work, the lights blew, there was no one to check out with in the morning. The room wasn’t very clean.

Well first night heating broke so guy tried to fix them but couldn’t until the morning so gave us heaters which was fair except the part where every outlet in the rooms where high up so had to balance it on a cube storage unit in one of the rooms to get it to work. We left early the next day to go exploring and get breakfast and on return the heating wasn’t fixed so we had no heating the 3 nights as wasn’t chasing them up constantly so all we had was the electric ones provided. If you love the smell of cigarettes and a certain plant then u will love this place as that’s all you can smell. The mould that was in the shower cubicle was also concerning. Would be fine if it was cheap but cost me around £330 to stay for three nights so yeah I won’t be back. Side note away from hotel I doubt we will be back to Blackpool to stay as the place has gradually got worse every year. If it wasn’t for the pleasure beach then I wouldn’t return. Should also mention I have never reviewed a hotel before but I know how much it can make a difference to the mood of a holiday so being honest is the best route.

The curtains couldn't block out a lamps light let alone the sun. The main door didn't fit the frame so had to be slammed (not ideal at 0200). Was promised towels in the room when I got there which never arrived.

Location is excellent for being central to Blackpools entertainment.

Unfortunately my accommodation (Oyo Shores) was changed 2 days before we got there !! No reason given either !! Was travelling with my friend and her son and she was kept there but me and my son moved without any reason given !! Booking.com couldn't care less and the hotel they moved us too didn't even have a room for us that Oyo had apparently secured for us but luckily the man there Oyo Wave had a cancellation and gave us that room !! This service is awful and I've still no reason as to why they moved us ?? Luckily the guy at Oyo Wave hotel was lovely and helped us however I will not be booking an OYO hotel again as this lack of explanation as to why they moved us but not my friend !!

Nothing to say about this hotel as was moved with no explanation 2 days before we travelled !! OYO Wave Crest hotel was nice and the guy on reception helpful but as for Booking.com and OYO no thanks !! Couldn't care less about customers and move people with zero explanation !! And Booking.com when I emailed were not bothered in the slightest !!
