Location of the property is incredible, and the owners were amazing hosts.

It was all great; a shame that, because they were "between chefs", we were unable to have an evening meal there.

Amazing beautiful location. A very homely feel and ambiance coupled with the service and cleanliness you’d expect from a hotel. Great parking, comfortable bed and amazing breakfast. Superb hosts.

We booked the king room with the loch view for the last two nights of our stay in Scotland. It was beautiful, and the comfy chairs in front of the picture window were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous view! Liz and Billy were the consummate hosts and we would not hesitate to stay again the next time we are in the area.

We were made to feel very welcome, the guesthouse was really lovely, our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were amazing. A lovely relaxing stay, we particularly enjoyed some drinks in the sunshine in the beer garden which looked over the loch.

We were supposed to stay for 2 nights attending the gig - Kyle Falconer. We booked our room in advance and it was non refundable. Tue whole area is now badly flooded and roads are shut due to the amber alert and the heavy rain. Liz, the owner, was amazing and cancelled our reservation without any cost. We would like to visit the place in the future as it’s clearly run by good people who love what they are doing, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Hope you are all safe and we can see you soon! All of our stay was very relaxing & most enjoyable. The view from the bedroom window was stunning, very picturesque with the weather to compliment the beautiful surroundings. Our hosts, Liz & Billy, were very sociable, thoughtful & extremely welcoming. The food was of the highest quality, superbly cooked & with sheer dedication to detail of serving, presentation & taste. The dining area was beautifully positioned to take in the panoramic view of the Loch & all its beauty. A delightful haven to be revisited. Absolutely nothing. It is perfection.

The Shore House feels like a dreamland. The location is as if you have stepped into a film set and Billy and Liz have created the most relaxing and wonderful escape. Their hospitality and warmth makes it a home away from home and every wish is catered for.

Everything was perfect. Even if Liz and Billie did not have a baby cot or high chair for our little one- they made everything possible to accommodate !

The house is very well located at the Loch with a magnificent view - a bit further from the touristic places of Loch Lomond- definitely what we were looking for ! Billy and Liz are superb hosts which made our stay with our 2 kids (5 and 2) very enjoyable!! All equipment are high standing and the food was delicious. Playing with Watson was also a plus for our 2 little ones. The only regret we have is that we could stay only one night at the end of our trip in Scotland and would have definitely enjoyed staying longer!

It would have been helpful to have a menu to see all that was on offer for breakfast (we weren't short of choice!)

The location of the property was excellent, within easy driving distance of London, and close to lots of great areas for day trips. The breakfast was delicious, and Billy & Liz were incredible warm and helpful, and Watson the dog was adorable!

Billy and Liz were extremely accommodating when we had a car breakdown on the day we were supposed to check in, I am so appreciative of their kindness after such a rough day of travel. The breakfast was consistently delightful- we tried the full Scottish as well as a breakfast of granola cereal/toast/yogurt and fruit. The coffee was excellent. Looking out over the loch during breakfast was lovely! Our room was generously sized, the bed was beyond comfy, and I loved sitting in front of the window in the mornings and evenings. Liz and Billy had plenty of books available to read which was great thinking on their part. We walked a lot of the local trails during our stay- we can highly recommend The Cobbler, Steeple Hill, Duke's Path, and a walk to see the falls. There is a folder in the downstairs lounge containing information on local walks along with other books describing the local history.

absolutely nothing - the fact that we had to leave was a bummer

Billy and Liz are a real delight and we would go back in a heartbeat. Simon makes the best food (we ate in one evening) and serves a very tasty breakfast. They will be able to tell you about what there is to do in the surroundings if need be. Their house has a beautiful view on the lake and is so peaceful and calm you will be able to relax upon arrival.

This is not a criticism but I would have liked a shelf or container fixed to wall of shower for shampoo and conditioner etc really awkward bending over for toiletries!! As you can imagine!!!

Perfect for us as family get together and no more room at my brothers house in Lochgoilhead. Perfect for overflow. Liz and Billy great hosts made to feel very at home.
