The only thing I could say is the checkout time could do with being a smidge later as 10am is quite early but that’s only because I like my sleep!

The room was absolutely lovely! Really comfy bed, bathroom facilities were great with everything you’d need i.e. towels and shower gel/shampoo, complimentary water and tea/coffee was really lovely and the smart tv with streaming services is a nice touch. Everything was clean and to a great standard. Location is perfect as you’re only minutes away from the train and bus stations.

There is no lift only stairs. So be careful is you have heavy luggage or its hard for you to climb stairs.

The location was perfect. Very central. Room clean and comfortable. The pub underneath the hotel is a bonus and the food excellent.

Only downside was the shared bathroom is upstairs from the room. Already knew about the shared bathroom prior to staying. Wouldn’t put me off staying again though.

    Excellent location.

No breakfast option. Curtains in room would be nicer instead of blinds which let light in.

Restful and generally peaceful - lovely for a town centre, and so handy.

There wasn't any local information in the room, no mention about meals etc., being available in the pub, and it would appear no wifi. I was exhausted after a hard day and didn't explore further or ask down in the bar. It was generally clean and comfortable - and I had a very good night's sleep. There were indications of lack of attention to detail - dust in places and not just under the beds! No hooks in the shower room/toilet - although there looks to have been stick-on hooks on the door at some point ... Curiously there was no active or passive ventilation in the shower room/toilet, so condensation built up quickly.

No breakfast was supplied or part of the offer. The room was a generously sized twin, well decorated, and overlooking a main road in the centre of town, with frequent buses stopping and passing by, so very handy for both the bus and railway station. Closing the window dealt with the noise from the buses, which wasn't that intrusive. A large screen provided a good range of digi-channels both TV and (more importantly for me) radio - especially Radio Three in the morning. Plenty of teabags and milk, and some biscuits, kept me going in the evening and first thing in the morning! Plenty of drawers and a wardrobe for clothes, and a snug shower and toilet with plenty of hot water for a good shower.

They're doing work so everything is a bit confused. Access isn't wonderful, wouldn't recommend if you are not good with stairs. Only real negative point was the bathroom door (shared bathroom) which I couldn't lock. The price was adjusted for the works, that was fine.

Great location, nice large room, comfortable bed. Loved the pictures on the walls, made it really special.

The way to get into the property was very winding. No air conditioner and we had trouble opening the window to get some air and it was very hot and warm during this time. Noisy outside in the street.

Very clean, good location, staff were nice and helpful. Clean rooms, bathrooms were very nice, small but enough for 2 people. Coffee machine, kettle were in the room which was good.

Parking was an issue. The pub car park is short stay only and to stay overnight would involve getting up before 6am to pay the meter for the next day. I parked overnight in a multi storey car park which cost £18.50 and was a ten minute walk away. Also to get to my room was up and down then up again several flights of stairs. I have some mobility issues.

Ideal position within the city. Food was excellent. Staff friendly. Room was lovely.

The view. It was the back of a shed but as I wasn't in the room till after dark so it mattered little.

The room was small but adequate for a one night stay. It had a kettle and coffee maker which was an added bonus. Power shower was excellent. No breakfast but near enough to cafe's and fast food outlets.
