The room we were in , 201, could do with a little TLC as was looking a bit worn especially the floor. The curtains didn't cover the whole window so had bright light shining in the room all night. Could of done with 2 dressing tables as there were 5 of us. The carpets on the corridors were all stained.

Location fantastic if you use the train, just round the corner few minutes walk. Decor in the entrance was nice and the rooftop terrace a great feature.

Just a couple of things, not major. I booked as we were going to see Pink at Anfield and the day before our stay I received an email about the roof top bar and ‘Pink Cocktails’ which they were advertising. The rooftop was amazing as the weather was so good but the staff didn’t know anything about the cocktails? We then ordered cocktails from their normal menu and some food. When the food arrived we were asked to pay immediately! We said no, we didn’t have a bill and why would we? Usually pay after and when you’re happy with everything don’t you? The food by the way was amazing! Also issue with downstairs bar where there was 1 person on with a large crowd of people. We left and went to a bar elsewhere. Apart from these couple of issues everything was great. Thank you.

The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from Lime Street Station. Great looking at all the memorabilia of the late great Bill Shankly

The room we stayed in was tired and could do with a bit of a refurbish, the head boards covering had started to wear away, the sealant in the bathroom had become discoloured giving it an unclean look around the base of the bath when it was clear the room had been cleaned. Would have helped if the windows could be opened slightly.

The staff were lovely and the breakfast was really good

The rooms themselves were a little dated. The tv in our room wasn't working. The service on the rooftop bar was very slow.

The location was perfect. The look of the hotel was lovely, especially the reception area and the walk through to the lifts. The spa bath was amazing. The rooftop bar gave a good view of the city.

some of the furnishings are shabby and worn e.g. seats in the dining room, padding on the doors and in the bathroom also.

All staff were extremely polite, friendly and welcoming. Room was ready before time. We liked the reception entrance decorations. The room was comfy and the bathroom was good.

The bed was 2 beds pushed together and one was higher than the other so a noticeable dip in the middle. Breakfast selection for eggs was only scrambled, no option for poached or fried, continental selection on Sunday had no brads/tolls different to the toast option, on the Monday the continental section was reduced no muffins etc not sure why.

Fantastic location, quirky room, great friendly staff who were helpful and cheery. Would definitely return.

A week prior to our visit I rang up and asked what type of room we was getting as it was a themed one. They did say they couldn't be 100% on which room we would get due to their smoking policies and if someone smoked in the hotel rooms it could possibly change which is fair enough. So the lady said we would get a grey suite. And we all brought swim wear as one of the reasons we booked was the fact that it said we had a whirlpool bath. Which we didn't in the end. So that was disappointing and then I brought this up so the the staff and in all honestly they didn't seem too bothered. You can hear a lot of what's going on in other rooms like our neighbours doing their business and banging from the cleaning staff in the morning. So once checking out we brought this up and again the woman on the front desk just said to write a review. Which was lovely and helpful... not.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning it has really good attention to detail. The beds are extremely comfy and they provide tea/coffee facilities which is always nice. The check in was easy enough.

The fridge in the room was extremely noisy, the bathroom mirror was damaged and the towel rail also damaged but not repaired.

The location is ideal for a night out in Liverpool. The bar area in the afternoon was a good vibe before going out.

Shower wasn't great. It had great potential huge shower head and a large bath. The controls were dodgy, loose and unfortunately produced boiling water then freezing... Not the best fun. Not good. Disappointing really. We had to go to reception twice once we had no towels after the room had been cleaned and then the door cards stopped working. Staff so helpful every time but would be better not to have to do it.

Fun interior, spacious and large room and bathroom. Clean and comfortable beds, we enjoyed our time together we're not super picky, comfy beds, a good night's sleep is our priority and if the hotel has good food, decent breakfast etc. the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were good, lovely desserts. All the staff we met were absolutely lovely which makes a big difference.

There was 10 of us all paid £17.50 for the breakfast, it was disgusting, the only thing we ate was the toast and cheese, the sausages looked raw, the bacon was hard, the poached eggs tasted of vinegar, total waste of £175.00

The Library room, quite a waste of space, front room is basically functionless. Shower water temperature was basically impossible to adjust, it was boiling hot or ice cold. Kettle is hidden inside bedroom wardrobe instead of putting it in spacious front lounge.

Great location and service. Style galore. Comfy bed.
