We would have liked another option for breakfast.

The historic nature of the inn. The staff were friendly and we liked our room.

Pub due a refurbishment soon so rooms will be modenised.

Nice old fashioned pub serving real ales with parking on main road outside. Breakfast available from 7am so good for contractors needing an early start. No Food Monday evenings but a good Indian Restaurant virtually directly opposite. Underground station 0.7miles away with cheap car parking available in multi-story.

Our bathroom needed some work. The shower door and one tile needs repair. The bathroom could use a coat of paint. We let the staff know. It did not cause a problem with our showers or with our stay.

The location of the Inn and the friendly staff. So kind of Rob for helping us with phone calls and letting my relatives use his phone to contact me. I had Cell phone issues. The Inn had a local feel to it and provided walkable and enjoyable outings. Especially the Memorial Gardens across the street. The breakfasts were large and we enjoyed the traditional English fry up! There are also some nice restaurants near by within walking distance. The courtyard is cute and it was nice to sit out there for a bit when the weather was good.

That staff were great - it's a lively pub right in the best bit of Amersham. They even let us have breakfast late when we slept in. The breakfast was a good full English. The room was perfect for a short break.

The evening staff was busy at the pub so we felt we weren’t that welcome. The breakfast servant didn’t smile & shouldn’t wear a cap!

We had a room facing the street so we got some traffic noise and other street noises - recycling collection etc. Some of the room was quite good and some of it needed a bit of a refresh.

The location is excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is on street parking and we found out you can also use the Legion car park close by.

One room smelt a little damp. The landlord apologised for this on arrival, explaining that it is difficult to deal with because it is a listed building.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. It is a beautiful old building with quirky individual rooms.

Asked for another room because the first was unacceptable for a few reasons. Both rooms had large antique style beds which was great, but both needed freshening up.

The rooms could do with redecorating, and the plumbing probably needs looking at. The car park isn’t actually at the hotel, and it isn’t particularly secure.
