Not much on site parking, but most of Paignton is the same. Only a problem if you are driving.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Great value for money. Close to the centre of town and very near to the sea front.

We booked the Sands last minute, and our room was immediately available for check-in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was tidy and clean and the location was perfect for us.

En Suite, comfortable bed, kettle, hairdryer, tv. Bar area with free pool table. Staff were the best part of the stay, extremely kind and helpful.

This isn't the fault of the Hotel in any way, but the traffic noise by motorbikes and 'petrolheads' late at night could be a pain. It usually stopped just before midnight though.

We were in room 8, right at the very top. Our view was great, to see the sea first thing in the morning was lovely. There was good parking, either around the back of the hotel or at the front. This could be a little tricky though(at the front) as it's right off a roundabout, but that's not the hotels fault really. It was very close to the beach, shops and bars. But far enough away not to hear any noise from the bars at all. A very enjoyable spot.

No housekeeping service. Twice we asked for rooms to be cleaned. Bath towels not replaced for 2 days. Eventually my mother complained and iw was done. Also arrived in our checkout time,and there was no one there to greet us. Place was like a ghost time. Very disappointing.

the wifi was a little slow and we needed to turn it off and on again a few times but who needs wifi when you have such a beautiful place on your doorstep the bathroom is small but is perfect for all the essentials!

This is our 3rd time staying here and it was just as amazing as it always is! we love coming here we always get a room with a stunning sea veiw the hosts are lovely and welcoming and breakfast was lovely it was nice to see how the hosts interacted with all guests they were relaxed kind and were happy to help!

Room 3 hot shower control kept drifting to a higher temperature. Potentially a scolding hazard if fail to keep an eye on it.

Until about 10.30 - 11pm it was very noisy, especially with motor -bikes - as the hotel is situated on a mini - roundabout

Altough it was quiet and privacy respected, during my stay there I heard people shouting, swearing, slaming doors at 1-2 o'clock in the night, but this has nothing to do with the hotel, some people are just out of control. The possibility of haveing acces to a small fridge, a room fan/ventilator would be a major plus, bed mattress too soft ( I know most people would rather have a soft mattress ) but in my case was too soft, I literally felt like sinking on that bed !

Parking available wich is a big plus, close to the beach, privacy, easy to find location, decent room size, clean.
