Very enjoyable stay. Basic but clean hotel walking distance to Barmouth where there were nice bars and shops. Opposite the beautiful beach. Food good, staff were lovely. Would go back. The whole of Barmouth is very dog friendly as well.

We both struggled to sleep in the bed, although that could be us being fussy, everything else was brilliant.

No top up of coffee, milk and biscuits for second night of stay. Shower soda dispenser empty when I arrived.and not filled up despite mentioning to housekeeper.

Excellent location very short walk from train station & shops. The staff are wonderful, very welcoming & happy. We'd stay here again if we visit Barmouth in the future

Quite dated, the one room needs decorating. I think the price is quite high for the basis rooms. £190 for 2 adults and 2 children is a lot for what we booked. The cooked breakfast wasn’t the best, but I didn’t complain so I can’t moan too much. There was cereal, fruit, yogurt and toast as well which was nice so we didn’t go hungry.

I have mixed reviews on this hotel as well had 2 rooms. There was an issue with the light in the one that we booked so one of the rooms were upgraded. The upgraded room with a sea view was lovely. The cheaper room was poor and was in need desperate need of a refurb. The staff are lovely, they couldn’t help anymore with the issues we had with our room. When we went for breakfast the lady was very pleasant and explained where everything was.

Bedrooms are looking very tired and in need of a freshen up.

Friendly staff. Nice bar. Downstairs decor very modern and smart. Good quality and nicely made breakfast. Great views over the bay and mountains.

Rooms were a bit dated and there was handles missing from wardrobe and mould round the bathroom window with holes in the wall where shelves were. No private car park had to find a spot in the next road

The location was good and we enjoyed the breakfast. The one staff that looked after us was brilliant he worked very hard from evening to morning. He needs a pay rise. The bar was nice and dining room decorated nice.

The only real complaint was that the TV didn't seem to be able to play most of the services supposedly on offer. Oh, and despite the WiFi supposedly being free, I was unable to access it.

The continental breakfast was very good. The staff were lovely.

The 'dog friendly' room was very small, we were thankful for the electrical fan as the room was also very warm which affected our dogs. We like motorbikes but there was a 'Hell's Angel' convention being held, there were bikes absolutely everywhere. My husband didn't feel well so tried to sleep on Saturday afternoon, revving bikes kept him awake. My husband was due to be a God Father to his Grandson on Sunday so we couldn't do home, it was a very long and upsetting night for him.

It didn't include breakfast, (and I did get breakfast when I paid £60 a night at Ocean Drive)! It was a bit noisy, both above me and outside, which woke me up a few times!

The location was right as I was traveling by train the following day, and close to the sea which was fabulous! The young boy (staff) was most helpful (getting WD40 for the door lock which so stiff and unusable, and a lamp for my room so that i could read in bed! Thank you to him!)

The kitchen closed at 8pm, forcing us to find an evening meal elsewhere due to arriving later than planned. A pre arrival registration form was requested to be completed, I didn't complete it, as I have never been required to provide where I was travelling from or too before.

The hotel was directly opposite the beach and within easy reach of the town centre.

On entering the room, the wallpaper on the ceiling was hanging of in one corner by the door. The serving of breakfast on the first morning, showed to run in an or ganised manner however, the next morning was chaotic. Staff had not put table numbers out therefore people did not know where to sit, breakfasts were made with staff totally unaware as to which table the meal was meant for. Staff complaining openly infront of customers about fellow colleagues.

Barmouth is beautiful..!!!. The room was very clean and the breakfast/food was good.
