Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe lift wasn’t working, so 3 floors with luggage not ideal, but the Receptionist did apologise for this on our arrival. It’s obvious the Hotel is undergoing refurbishment, I’m sure it’s going to look great when finished.
The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, shower was powerful and I appreciated the White Company shower gel, soap, etc., there was a hairdryer, bath robes, ironing board and iron, the bed was comfortable, the pillows less so, felt like pieces of foam, but, didn’t stop us sleeping well. Air conditioning was also a bonus. All of the staff that we met were incredibly friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure our stay was the best it could be, The staff of this Hotel are outstanding.

Room was comfortable , staff were helpful and overall facilities were better than expected. We booked this to be fairly close to the Preston guild wheel. We cycled down for about 20 mins to join the wheel near the park.

United KingdomNoise levels from next door rooms. Could easily hear next door television. TV was old and remote control was very worn. Several buttons could not be identified due to label/printing worn off. At breakfast on first day, they did not find my room on the list. Had to go back to reception to confirm breakfast was included , which it was. Breakfast was average. Reasonable choice but middling quality. There was no bread initially, as "it was still frozen", so had to wait. Coffee was from a large jug, very poor taste, very weak and had a lot of coffee granules in it. Despite promise to send invoice by email, it wasn't done and I had to chase. Most other hotels I stay in do this immediately.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well furnished and a reasonable size. Double bed was comfortable and a good size. Bathroom looked clean although some of the lower edges showed their age.

United Kingdomlighting was poor in the room. no draws only hanging space. Lift was very slow and just didn't feel safe to be in, we mentioned this to staff as we were leaving and they said they were in the process of having it looked at, needed to use it because I was recovering from a knee injury or I would of used the stairs. Breakfast on the 3rd day was very poor, only a few pastries, no continental or fruit scrambled egg looked like it had been sat there all morning. Also egg had mixed in with the beans and we had to ask for coffee as it had ran out. It wasn't like it was on the last minute there was still 45 mins left before breakfast finished. There was two staff on duty and while we were in the restaurant and only three other guest so I cant understand how they missed these things. We had issues with our room key (card) we had to have it activated three or four times not good when you are worried about the lift and on the top floor. However I think that these are all teething problems and it wont stop me using the hotel again.
Hotel was nice and modern, comfortable lounge area. Reception staff were lovely and friendly. Room was lovely plenty of room massive bed and quite comfy, clean good quality bedding towels etc. Coffee machine and kettle, complimentary coffee, tea milk and sugar and a small packet of biscuits. We had robes but we didn't use them. Airconditioning Plenty of hanging space Safe Great shower and complimentary shampoo and conditioner and body wash breakfast was good and plentiful on the first two days we stayed. hotel is good value for your money if you pay the rate of the hotel, We made the mistake of using booking.com last year to be sure we had a room for this date and they charged us £535 without breakfast for three nights, and then another £60 for breakfast.

United KingdomThere was a very limited menu on the Saturday evening, apparently they don’t usually serve food at all on a Saturday evening but we were “lucky” that a coach tour were visiting who had food included. Seems odd that a hotel of this size would not do food on any evening of the week let alone Saturday.
Friendly, helpful staff. Room was a good size and comfortable. Fabulous shower. Excellent secure cycle storage.

United KingdomThe only fresh fruit at most breakfasts were hard pears and apples. It said restaurant food would be available from 12 noon but each day it was only available from 6pm I found my bed a little too hard
The breakfast was good but not exceptional. There were various choices of cereals and different milks. Lots of different teas available and cooked breakfast choices. Scrambled egg not very appetising but mushrooms nice. Also toast, croissants,yoghurt etc Buffet style Staff were all really helpful and friendly, really good atmosphere. Great showers Good location to get to All very clean and in good condition Reception well-manned.
