We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWorking in an expensive hotel myself , the fact the spa isn’t included in the already expensive room is honestly ridiculous. £20 per person onto off the room price is daylight robbery as the spa is so small .
Beautiful room so comfy , netlfix and the hot chocolate sachets in the room was a nice touch as I don’t drink tea or coffee . Food and drinks delicious and staff lovely .

We asked about a mobile AC units because our room was so hot and uncomfortable and she was less than helpful, explaining it was an eco friendly resort and that it wasn’t appropriate to have AC.

United StatesThe afternoon reception staff members were cold fish. Not a welcoming place. The property was not particularly close to town—too far to safely walk. We had a crap view from our room, and our side of the courtyard , right in front of our room door, had a shed filled with construction materials and stored items—not aesthetically pleasing at all. Loud-slamming room door.

The room was huge and one of the nicest we have stayed in. Dining and drinks were excellent and great value for money. The waiters were super friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a work in progress, so we look forward to the new additions when we return again. We took a walk around the property and the cabins available to book look lovely. We did not make use of the spa facilities but will do next time.

This is the 6th time we've been to The Salthouse..we just love it. We go twice a year. The new restaurant outside The Lookout is really lovely and the food delicious for casual dining. We found that prices had gone up in the hotel restaurant since March 2023..

IrelandBeds were a bit small and uncomfortable for my liking (and given the price point). Also no aircon which made the room quite stuffy at night (even with windows open). Breakfasts were delicious but heavy - an option of cereal or porridge would have been good, especially for kids.
Great location, stunning views, wonderful eco philosophy. Staff were very attentive, and friendly with our kids. Decor and vibe was really relaxing.
