Unfortunately the street light was directly outside the window so it would have been great to have blackout curtains!

Location is perfect for exploring Fowey, a short walk from town and only a 10/15 min walk down to the swimming beach. Room was basic but clean and couldn't fault the staff, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing - best part of the stay!

Proper Cornish inn, right in the heart of Fowey. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Space was at a premium in Room 7 and its shower room. Also the stairs to the first floor were very narrow and difficult for 2 over 80s and I over 90!

The breakfast was great and the lady serving it exceptional. Everything was very clean and the car park was a bonus.

TV in room was poor as the signal kept dropping out & loosing the picture. As I was only staying for one night I did not bother to mention it.

Stayed as a single traveller. The room exceeded my expectations as it had a lovely view of the river & had a double bed which I was not expecting having booked a single room. It was good value for money compared with other B & B in Fowey. Staff very friendly & welcoming.

Breakfast not fantastic. Small changes in breakfast selection could have made big difference. (The addition of some fresh fruit. The option of natural yoghurt, not just sweetened fruit yoghurt.)

Room small but pleasant. Comfy bed, tea making facilities. Right next to bus stop very convenient as we were arriving and departing by bus. Added bonus of traditional pub downstairs.

Friendly welcome. Situation stunning, views of Fowey Harbour etc. Delicious food in the restaurant. However, do need to include a couple of veggie options on the menu. Chef did produced two yummy Thai veg curries with no notice so all of our party of eight well satisfied. Good breakfast, with veggie options.

Breakfast was ok. Sausage and bacon very dry and hard Lots of waiting but they had a shortage of staff. Our room was up a very narrow and steep set of stairs. As I have to use a crutch for support i found it very hard to go to our room. (Many places now say unsuitable for people with mobility issues and I think this should have been stated)

Saturday night the pub gets very busy and it was loud, but if you can’t beat them join them I suppose it was just we were so tired after a day exploring!

There were no staff available to answer questions. We were not told how the breakfast worked bearing in mind there were no staff on hand. We would have had to take hot drinks down to breakfast from our room which entailed walking down a steep flight of stairs and through a fire door on a curved flight of stairs. We would have appreciated an explanation about this on arrival.

The location was excellent. The room was serviced which was a bonus it seems as other hotels we stayed on this trip were not. The continental breakfast was excellent. The views from our room were lovely. We were able to park the car in the hotel car park and leave it there for the three nights untouched!
