We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Comfy rooms and beds. Peaceful with no traffic, just seagulls. Friendly and great fish dinner. Good breakfast too.

United KingdomI felt bad that we left thinking we'd already paid when we booked. One of the staff had to come after us to pay. An honest mistake but a bit embarrassing all the same. She was really nice about it though.
Stayed there before so knew what to expect, and weren't disappointed. Friendly staff, a comfortable room and a good breakfast is all we need really. We'll be back.

United KingdomFor the first time we had to walk a short distance across the landing to our own private bathroom .which was lovely .spacious and clean.but do prefer an ensuite like we've always had on previous breaks there. so you don't have to go out your room in night to go to bathroom
We've been afew times to Royal George the food is lovely .Good size portions..the beds are really comfortable the rooms are clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly can't fault it at all that's why we keep going back.thankyou for making us welcome

Very welcoming friendly staff from the minute we walked though the door until check out. The whole pub was very clean with well kept beers at reasonable prices. Our room and ensuite were excellent and look to have been recently refurbish to a very hight standard. The bed was very comfortable. Tea, coffee & milk in our room was plentiful with extra available on the landing sideboard, which was a thoughtful touch. The very quiet cool air tower was also a thoughtful addition. It meant we could close our window to get a good night sleep without the seagull chorus. Which was not a problem to us during the day expected at the seaside. Our breakfasts thoughout our 3 days stay were delicously freshly prepared with a great selection of hot food choices. Our even meal was also fabulous, very generous portions amazing value for money with the best chips we have ever had. Compliments to ALL The Royal George Team from the cleaners to front of house you are all incredible. Thank you for a brilliant stay. We hope to return .
