We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomLift only went to the first floor and we had then to climb up a flight of stairs to get to.our room which was on the 2nd floor. I had requested a room with a walking in shower but got one with a shower over the bath.
Bed was very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was lovely and plentiful.

United KingdomWhen arrived & tried to book in the receptionist said , wait until I deal with these people , we were shoved aside until she attended to other guest , we sat down on a bench waiting to be attended ,then said you can’t check into 3.00pm, I replied no we can get our room from 2.00pm, got to our room looked lovely I went to check bathroom & there was still bits off poo remains in toilet not satisfied but didn’t complain just flushed the toilet,tried to get through to reception the to ask for another bath towel for my husband for showering no respond always engaged , the women when we booked in really wasn’t helpful ,but was for one overnight , so we just went with it but wouldn’t recommend lt for that .reason .
Hotel was lovely , we stayed there as we had a wedding @ lochside hotel great so convenient .

A very good hotel with friendly, helpful staff from check in to departure. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and a very good breakfast on the morning of departure. I didn't venture into Cumnock at all, so can't really comment on the town, but Dumfries and Galloway is a beautiful area and well worth a visit. You could do a lot worse than staying at The Royal.
