Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel was lovely all staff friendly or room was beautiful ❤️ bed so comfy, the bath products were so frangant. Our evening meal was exceptional 5* and breakfast was great with a great variety of foods

United KingdomOne lift to service the entire building, even during a quieter time is seriously insufficient. 5* hotel that doesn't have a pool or even a hot-tub. Even the spa area is in a separate building.
Lovely, large suite, with a copper bath tub. On-site parking is great but costly at £20 per day. Bar is well equipped and dinner was not only excellent, but served with helpful advice on accompanying wines. Some lovely green park area just in front of the hotel. Fantastic grand piano in the lobby, just a shame it was too late at night to play for long.

United Kingdom- parking fees are misleading. Clearly states £12 for 12 hours on the T&C boards outside and online, which is exactly what we were staying for (11PM - 11AM). Reception staff insisted that we had to pay £20 for an ‘overnight rate’ minimum, but fairly quickly agreed to charge less, still making us feel that we were at fault and received a goodwill compromise from them- strange welcome and a very minimal difference overall, but not what you’d expect from the hotel of this level… and based on previous stays here. - room had a coffee machine but no pods to use it with, milk was provided - we were placed in a room with a mobility bathroom, which was quite uncomfortable with very low sink, absence of shelves - rooms in the secondary building, are fairly basic and feel a little dated now, with worn interiors and wear and tear showing at places - not a massive issue, just lack of adequate and proactive maintenance? - breakfast menu has changed since our last stay - Mainly the buffet options now, which are very basic and not worth the cost/time, the staff were helpful and polite though

My friend and I were absolutely astonished with how beautiful the hotel was, the service was brilliant - fast and everyone was so polite. The bath reaches your shoulders which is great and the shower is huge. The king size bed was incredibly comfy and the pillows were fantastic. Neither of us woke up once in the night. On top of that, the place was spotless! Will definitely be booking again.
