Only things I would say is.. - Our room (No 8) don’t have a full length mirror in, only had a small one in bathroom. Luckily we also had room (No 9) which had 2 full length mirrors in that I could use. I would definitely recommend putting one in room 8 🙂 - Pillows were very hard but that’s just personal preference 🙂

Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very relaxed and homely. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Beautiful place, on the river and beautiful views.

The traffic noise through the night

The food was excellent, good choice of drinks, reasonable prices and it was lovely to sit outside by the river.

Stairs were a little steep

The staff were professional and friendly. Easy to deal with, approachable and welcoming. The food was great and reasonably priced. We would definitely go again.

Car parking very tight with people using the bar. Having to wait to put my car on to the car park as there were no space available for a resident. I stayed away from the riverside so as to Get a space on my return. Not ideal.

Having to check in at the busy public bar. The noisy road outside. Smokers congregating around the pub entrance.

This was room only. The room was above a quite noisy pub but the main noise came from the road outside. As it was hot we kept the windows open. The room was small but had everything we needed for a short stay. The shower was good and the room was clean.

It's not a dislike but I feel like there needs to be more interaction with the guests we got shown to our room which was great but we were here for 5 days our room was not offered to be cleaned and our condiments restocked nor any fresh towels. I had to go down and ask. I just feel more interaction with guests could be extremely beneficial.

I enjoyed the location and the staff on site were amazing. We ate and drank here and enjoyed it all very much. My partner had the margarita pizza and I had the macaroni cheese and it was really good. The pub is lovely and the prices of the drinks were reasonable. Overall it was a nice experience.

Small car pack with limited parking, roadside parking an option but narrow road. Main road can be noisy some mornings

friendly atmosphere in the bar & great food. Outside location by the river was superb. Would recommend the pizza, steak & traditional curry

The food in the restaurant was lovely, plenty of choice and lovely beer garden by the river. The beds were comfy and the staff were so friendly. Very basic but it was exactly what we paid for and had everything we needed.

Car park small, could not guarantee space on return to property. Room clean and great view from window but in need of bit of attention. Only one large towel for 2 guests and coffee cups used but not cleaned for two night stay.

Road traffic noise

A mini fridge would have been nice to keep drinks cold. But can’t expect that for the price we paid which was very reasonable.

Steps down into room as soon as you open door. Stairs up to room steep and narrow. Needs general refurbishment. No plug in bathroom sink.only one bedside cabinet. Only one chair. No breakfast.

Staff friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable apart from wooden headboard. Plenty of tea, good kettle etc. Good shower. Nice big tv.

Its a small thing, but having obsure film on the bottom half of the window would mean we could keep the blind up during the day instead of keeping the light on. As people could easily see you when walking past, as the windows were full height
