It hasn’t been cleaned properly the tea and coffee station had old bottles form the last guests and there were no teabags. They also didn’t replenish the toilet roll before we arrived

The room had a bit of a musty smell and the air vents were quite dirty in the bathroom but it wasn’t too big of a deal

The beds were so comfy the room was visually appealing the TV had youtube, disney+, Netflix , All 4 etc coffee machine in room , snacks

Parking!!!! Carpark over the road is reasonably cheap at 6.60 for 24hours but you have to renew at 00.00. This can be done by phone just remember to set your alarm. Further on can paid more than 24hrs but so expensive

Lovely cozy room. With lots of atmosphere. Comfy bed. Lovely clean fluffy towels, and an amazingly powerful shower. Meals in the pub great value and staff really took time to ensure my friend was catered for and safe due to multiple allergies. Staff friendly and really helpful. Quality tea and coffee supplies and Oat milk ❤️

Due to the old nature of the building you can hear others walking around but this can't be helped. The bath could have been cleaned a little better and the drains smelt slightly.

Large, spacious rooms in a good location. Value for money. Breakfast bars and biscuits were a nice touch

Superb Room, great location. Eat in bar twice very good. Its worth noting that the parking would have been an issue but we used Justpark.com for the Granary Car Park across the road - it allows you to park across days.

In spite of being opposite a cycleway and including cycling in the description of the hotel features the hotel refused to store our bikes overnight. There was plenty of space in the courtyard!

Parking is a nightmare. Very confusing, especially if you aren't from the UK and therefore not used to the pay in advance/app option. (The car parks do not allow you to pay upon leaving)I feel like the hotel should be more informative about where/how to park before guests arrive. We looked it up in advance and still couldn't work it out. The car park across the road doesn't allow you to pre-pay for after midnight so you have to do this after 12am either on the app or go out to the carpark and pay at the machine (coins only) - not ideal to have to do in the middle of the night. Would advise on parking at the car park around the corner because you can prepay for the whole night. It's very expensive to use these car parks which isn't ideal if you're staying a few nights. The floors were squeaky so was noisy - it's an old building so that probably can't be helped. Our door was stiff and difficult to open.

Good location in the city centre. Room and bathroom were a good size, comfortable beds with a big TV. Handy to have a restaurant on site. Friendly staff. Nice bar and outdoor area. Nice atmosphere.

The bathroom could probably do with a refresh. The Internet and Wi-Fi need looking at as it was quite patchy. For me, as I'm 6'4", the ceiling beams are rather low, but that's the character of the building. I only banged my head once. 🙂. It would have been nice if breakfast was available, but it wasn't an issue as there are plenty of places to eat close by.

Great location for where we needed to be. Well stocked hospitality tray and surprisingly quiet, considering their is a pub below. Comfy bed, plenty of storage, and a good-sized room. Great pub menu for evening meals, we weren't around at lunchtime.

Poor lightening on one side of the room but manageable

The room was clean and spacious. Complimentary snacks, hot beverages and water, although we didn’t have the snacks it was nice to have the option. Easy check in and check out. Great location.

The only negative is the parking - very easy but you can only pay till midnight and then have to purchase again for the following day so had to stay up / set an alarm for midnight to pay for further parking online. - not hotels fault - but could maybe put something in place for parking for their customers.

The fact it has no carpark is it's biggest letdown for me as the carpark opposite is daylight robbery..making the cost off stay even more expensive..

No parking so it cost a fair bit to stay overnight. It was my error as didn't check if parking was included but it impacted our stay

The free little breakfast basket and refreshments were a lovely touch The staff were kind and gave us a tour even though the pub was super busy.

Room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Although the pub was busy the noise didn't bother us at all and it was very quiet once the bar closed.

Room not brilliantly lit at night - perhaps to do with age of building & wiring?

Gorgeous, big room, loads of storage space. Air con absolute welcome bonus in 30 degree heat! Loads of treats with the tea & coffee plus great coffee machine!
