If I had to comment on anything, it would have to be the garden. It's tiny!

Lovely, cosy home from home. Heated floor in the kitchen, great decor. Location is great not far from everything.

I'd be hard pressed to fault the accommodation. If pushed, and I'm really nitpicking, but shower room is downstairs through the kitchen.

It is a lovely cottage in a lovely area close to Chester and Liverpool. We really liked the seaside themed interior design. It had everything we needed for our short stay.

very steep stairwell, toilet facilites were downstairs with the sink being very tiny, but these drawbacks were all manageable such that we would be happy to pay a return visit.

excellent location, excellent facilities provided in the accomodation, very tastefully decorated, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Pubs and eateries and ice cream parlours within easy walking distance, large meadow 2 minutes walk away to exercise the dog.

Absolutely nothing. Only positive things to say about it. Heating fab, water pressure fab, easy entry, comfy beds and sofas, spacious dining table and plenty of cooking provisions.

It was very clean, decor was absolutely lovely and it had more than enough amenities in the house. Four adults stayed (myself, other half and in laws) and thoroughly enjoyed this cosy, charming house. Host super friendly and helpful too. In a fab village with lots of facilities (lots of food!) and history too. Short drive to Liverpool, West Kirby, Chester, Mersey Ferries, any kind of supermarket you would want and we did a driven tour of North Wales which was not far away at all! Llandudno and Conwy is a short drive, Bangor and Anglesey aren’t much further, and it added less than an hour to our return journey to go to the Llyn Peninsula, to Criccieth/Porthmadog, to Beddgelert and Betws Y Coed through Snowdonia.

There is nothing to not like! It’s stunning and in a perfect location for the 2 minute walk into the centre of Parkgate. The stairs are steep compared to “normal” sets, however it felt extremely safe to navigate them with the handrail etc.

Beautiful home, spotlessly clean (understatement of the century!), decor is so clean, fresh and tastefully done and very in keeping with Parkgate. The layout for 5 worked really well. The bathroom is downstairs but didn’t have any impact for us at all. The log burner was amazing… such a treat!
