Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe only thing was the automatic light sensor in the bathroom which also activated the extractor fan, which is a little annoying during the night if you use the facility!
I was greeted like a returning guest as I have stayed here before. I was upgraded to the large family room which is downstairs. I was informed of the slight noise from the kitchen extractor units however this had no impact whatsoever. The room was large comfortable and clean. The bathroom had both a bath and separate shower cubicle. The hotel breakfast is all freshly cooked and has a wonderful selection of fruits, juices pastries. All of the staff are super friendly and happy to help.

United KingdomAs we are getting on a bit we found the king size bed a bit small for us. We are going to try a twin room next time so we have a bit more space.
The staff remembered us and greeted us like old friends. We always feel very welcome there, like home from home. Our son who is at uni in Exeter was able to join us for breakfast on the house. We intend to come back to stay when we bring him/ collect him in his final year.

Very comfortable room which included blankets in case the duvets were too hot as they often are in hotels. Large bathroom with handy drawers - hotels often lack space to put all your stuff. Very friendly, helpful staff and incredible breakfasts.
