The other guests! A wedding on the Saturday night, clearly attended by animals…half midnight to half 2 in the morning, screaming, shouting, banging and arguing. Disgusting behaviour by some complete tools!

Guests returning from wedding reception can be a little noisy

Great breakfast and evening meal. Off the beaten track alongside the canal in a great setting. The lodge is clean and tidy with 18 rooms all well appointed. . A great find and we will return.

The road in is narrow with big speed humps. Could be a problem in a low slung car.

Walls between rooms in the lodge were not the best - we could hear the TV and conversation from the room next door

Location was good - lovely setting on the river, great for visiting Lincoln. Room was a good size, bed very comfortable. Shower was AMAZING!! Food was excellent

Very comfortable room with nice decor, amazing rain shower with jets, friendly staff and really good how you can walk along the canal to the centre of Lincoln. Despite being close to a busy road the trees block any noise.

Staff not overtly friendly and some food was over priced for the quality. Lamb meal was a bit tough, not very tasty and dauphinois potatoes no taste at all.

Excellent location, set.out in the rural Lincolnshire country side, yet 5 mins from the city, beside the river.... Modern furnishing of rooms in the Pyewipe Lodge.... a very trendy bath and shower.... Excellent cuisine in the restaurant, were happy to customise the menu according to request. 5 star rating throughout!

There were only 2 downsides the road into the site was a one track with passing places,speed humps that caused the engine on my car to bottom out were an issue and breakfast lacked little choice,no fresh fruit,coffee,tea etc and cereal selection was limited.The good things far outweighed the bad things.

It was excellent the accommodation was far enough away from the pub to not be disturbed,but close enough for use of facilities.Dinner was unbelievably good and exceeded what we expected.A bonus was that we had a classic car and there was plenty of room to enable us to park it in a safe place.The staff were excellent and helpful.

There isn't anything not to like.

Everything about our stay was perfect, the location of the pub is right next to the canal, it was beautiful. The room was perfect, it was immaculate and the bed and pillows were so comfortable, had a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom was modern and the shower was powerful, equipped with huge fluffy white towels. There was a kettle and coffee machine in the room and a lovely touch of biscuits. There was also an iron and ironing board and a fan if needed. The accommodation itself is in a building within the grounds of the pub. The staff were friendly in the pub itself. The food was amazing. Absolutely loved everything about the place and will definitely return.

Only very minor things: that there was no mini fridge in the room, to keep our own drinks cool and the wardrobe had sliding doors which were slightly off their rails and a bit tricky to open as a result.

All of it: the staff were nice, lovely location for a pub by the riverside and the rooms in the Lodge were clean, well appointed, secure and comfortable with a comfy bed. There was a kettle and nespresso machine in the room and the shower was expansive with lots of hot water and fluffy towels.

The only downside was the music was extremely loud due a wedding. However it quietened down at 12 which was acceptable.

The property is in a beautiful location very quiet with outstanding views. Very quiet and was very restful.

The mattress in room 5 could provide do with being replaced and a better quality toilet paper would be nice. Also larger cups for tea/ coffee (they were more like egg cups!)

Loved the position away from traffic and next to the canal. Outdoor seating area was lovely in the sunshine. Staff were very friendly and the food was amazing

We like the location next to the Fossdyke Canal and one can take a gentle stroll alongside into the centre of Lincoln. The food is also very good and value for money. Parking is never a problem. As we live in France we always stay there as a base to visit family and friends. The staff are very friendly and Chris is an excellent host.
