United KingdomTake note that even if you book the breakfast beforehand you will need to pay extra for hot dishes (e.g. poached eggs or English breakfast), the choice of standard breakfast is mid: just some toasts with ham&cheese, 3-4 options for juice, some yogurts and pastries (everything runs out quickly and you have to query for toasts). Comparing to other hotels where hot dishes are included in breakfast this one was really frustrating. Also, the restaurant staff is not super friendly and could be rude sometimes

United KingdomWhen I checked my bill on arrival home I noticed I’d been charged £10 for 3 x breakfasts. When I booked earlier this year my booking stated breakfast was included, at no point did anybody mention that I’d be charged an additional fee for having a couple of poached eggs on toast. Not happy about this unexpected £30 extra charge and I’ll be asking for it to be refunded. We also had a packet of dry roasted nuts from the mini bar which were out of date, I advised reception that I’d also noticed that some crisps had also gone out of date. Those crisps were still in the fridge on the day we left. (I’m hoping the hotel aren’t going to charge retrospectively for those nuts.) Although the location was great I found the room a little cramped that I believe could be helped by a rethink on layout of tv, wardrobe and tea & coffee facilities. (Tea and coffee facilities actually in the wardrobe.)
Great location, pool, jacuzzi and sauna really good. Food good and staff really friendly.

United KingdomShower was difficult to operate - either scorching hot or ice cold. They include a continental breakfast in the price and you then have to pay for a cooked breakfast separately - perhaps give a choice of either so you pay for one or the other. I also recommend that staff tell people that the cooked breakfast is a separate cost - a couple of people paying on checkout were quite surprised by the additional cost.
Friendly staff and liked that they parked the car and had pre-arranged parking bays at the hotel when you arrive as it is difficult to park on that street. Loved the complementary gin and tonic and bottled water in the room. Breakfast was good with lots of choices.

ZambiaParking. Not easy to know where to park intially . Wasted £25 parking somewhere else only to find there was hotel parking . Not well sign posted. Then when u need your car you have to get a valet to fetch it for you. Spa. Specially booked this hotel because of the Spa then couldnt get a booking for the two days we were there. Breakfast . This was included in the booking but then when you go for breakfast you find that it’s only continental and if you want a cocked one you have to pay extra. The cost of the hotel stay is expensive enough as it is!

United KingdomThe new breakfast policy is not clear. We booked Bed and Breakfast to find anything other than continental was £10 extra. We found this very hard to understand, especially as we stayed in January and had the option of a hot breakfast every day at no extra charge. If we all had a cooked breakfast throughout our two day stay for three adults, it would be £60 extra, (In my case, just for a scrambled egg on toast!) I find this new policy hard to accept, with the prices for accommodation as high as they are, to charge extra for breakfast is something I've not come across anywhere else.

United KingdomIt wasn't easy to know where to park our car when we arrived, for the valet parking although the staff were incredibly accommodating about this. We came with a child and found that although it was welcome news that she could come to the pool with us, the timings were very narrow and pretty restrictive for children, especially considering nap timings etc.
Staff were very helpful, welcoming and accommodating. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. The view from the room over the beach was fantastic. The fact that the spa was complimentary with the stay was a lovely surprise and the facilities were well maintained, clean and not too busy. Breakfast was comprehensive and offered plenty of variety. The beach can be accessed by walking down a path directly from the hotel terrace, which made it very easy to explore. The town itself is lovely, full of art galleries and beautiful shops. We would definitely come here again.

United KingdomThe food was terrible, we ate at the hotel first night. The breakfast options were very limited and even though it says breakfast included (continental breakfast only) you still have to pay for hot dishes. For the cost of the hotel they could do much better. Service not great at all.
