Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CroatiaNot really a compliment but there’s a big mirror on the bathroom wall so you see yourself sitting on the toilet 😱very scary. Breakfast price abit high £13.75 each extra. So we didn’t have it . Just a cup of tea/coffee in the room .
Very friendly helpful staff. Even offered me a hot lemsip drink my cold . The room was very clean & comfortable. Very old building from the 1800’s kept beautifully in style . Private parking.

Absolutely everything was awesome. I couldn't fault the place at all. The staff were amazing, they were kind and super friendly. The food was perfect and I don't think there was anything they could have done better... The room was stunning and well thought out. The copper claw foot double bath tub in the bedroom was great! The only thing that let me down was leaving.

This is our third stay at the Pilot and it continues to impress. Our room was spacious with all amenities and a very comfortable bed. Staff are all extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating and sensitive to the needs of customers. The food is exemplary with very good ingredients beautifully cooked, presented and served. We look forward to our next visit.

I cannot recommend The Pilot Inn enough, I traveled solo with my 5 year old daughter so was nervous at the thought of staying above the pub, the wonderful staff squashed those worries straight away. They went above and beyond for my daughter, even went out and bought her cereal for the morning! Felt very safe, no noise at all during the night, dinner was perfect… there was even oat milk in the room which I’ve never seen before. 100% would recommend, the restaurant had so much character, we had a great game of eye spy in there with all of the ornaments!

A beautiful cosy pub with friendly staff. The owner was so welcoming when we arrived. She showed us our accommodation which was amazing. It had everything we needed for our stay. We had our meals there which were delicious and well presented, the breakfast set us up well for the day and again was very tasty. Nothing was to much trouble for the owner, the decor of the pub was very tastefully done. I would highly recommend this property, it was in a lovely location. Parking was a bonus Will definitely be back.
