Breakfast , staff lovely people , but with two nights stay , breakfast is £17 per person per night , first morning there was no black pudding , and no link sausages , a pooR quality square sausage substitute , so I said to the waiter looking forward to my Scottish black pudding tomorrow, the next morning no black pud , no link sausage , no haggis, and horrid fatty streaky bacon instead of back bacon , very disappointed , got the feeling the chef was using up the left overs , not the end of the world , but shortly some one could of popped to the the supermarket or the butchers , and speaking of new licensing laws the pack testing on appliances is well out of date , the iron in the wardrobe cable is perishing , DANGEROUS

Perfect location in the centre. Nice rooms with highland touches and local products. Would stay again as spa facilities are good!

The bathroom was tiny but fine for a couple of nights.

Loved the Perle, the last time we came we were lucky enough to stay in a gorgeous seafront suite and were unsure whether the double room would measure up but we still had plenty of space in the room, two comfy chairs and a nice window with a good view. The staff are so friendly and it was a pleasure to spend New Year in the hotel.

It was a shame that the front doors were so dirty, but I imagine being right in the front they get a battering - but first impressions when we first arrived meant we were worried at first but of course that soon went!

The walls isolation isn’t optimal, we could hear a bit our neighbors passing… same with the light passing through the doorframe, couldn’t have a pitch black room to sleep.

Very well located! It’s an authentic spot on the coast, but refreshed with a modern touch. Very nice breakfast (à la carte, bit they also have a buffet option).

There was a lot missing in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner but in fairness I think it was explained it was due to the new year period and supplies hadn't come in. So it wasn't a big issue. Other than that it was all fine. Staff were all nice in general and helpful and of course apologetic about the missing items.

Staff were nice, rooms were good. Breakfast was good, decent options. Location is great, right in the heart of Oban. Walked round locally during the day and location wise it's probably the best one.

Sadly the steam room wasn’t in operation while we stayed so we weren’t able to book the rasul mud treatment. The room itself was slightly cold, the bathroom was very cold even though the heated towel rail was kept on!

Location was perfect, close by affordable parking. Great distance to restaurants and shops and right at the harbour. The food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was great. The room was very clean, well equipped and large in size. The bed was huge! The bar was great service and great choice of drinks.

the bar area and restaurant were a bit of a strange atmosphere. it was also perhaps just a little pricey for the size and considering a lot of the facilities were shut for winter

My room could do with a refurb - particularly around the windows, but overall I thought it was really good for the price and it was all very clean.

Single Ply Toilet paper! Not what you would expect at this level of stars. I was surprised that the restaurant was not serving a Scottish menu. Again Not what you would expect so we ate our evening meals elsewhere.

Our room had lovely thick black out curtains but no blinds or sheer curtain and we overlooked a road so we felt a bit exposed this could easily be resolved with blinds.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Oban, staff were very friendly and helpful , modern room with kettle and coffee machine, complimentary bottled water, robes and slippers, they have even provided yoga mats and wireless speaker in the room, spa facilities were an added bonus to relax in the sauna , use the foot spa and heated beds after a day of exploring. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice , we also dined in the restaurant and the food was lovely, all very reasonably priced.

We felt for the price for 2 nights our room view of the side street and the butchers shop did not represent value also there was a service stairway beside our room, when this stairway door was opened a draft that came under our bedroom door , however this morning that draft had strong diesel fumes in it that were almost overwhelming I advised reception
