Had the most amazing time staying here, felt really looked after and really appreciated the thought that was put in to ensure we had everything we needed. It’s great value for money, in a great location with amazing views and the nearby towns. We also booked the hot tub and would highly recommend, it was really cosy and we were provided with extra towels and robes. There is a little orange cat who likes to say hello and there are cows in the surrounding fields. We had the best time, can’t thank David and Tessa enough!

It was absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t think of a better place to spend my anniversary with my Fiancée. The hosts were amazing and we will be visiting again in the future.

The host was very welcoming as was the ginger cat, the hen and cows. The accommodation was excellent and extremely clean. I would wholly recommend this property.

Tessa and David made us feel very welcome. It was like a home from home, with added little touches to make our wedding anniversary really special. It was very peaceful with stunning views. It had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away.

Nothing was bad at all, except the Great British Weather.

Everything. The location was beautiful, convenience for getting to Alton towers but more than anything we felt welcome and very comfortable. The bath is well worth it too. Oh and Rocket the cat 🖤

Was very clean and cosy, was in a lovely quiet location surrounded by cows and other wildlife. Had everything you needed inside the parlour would definitely recommend and come back again. Perfect place to stay for a trip to Alton towers too.

The stovetop kettle provided was old and rusty, so instead we used a little pot to heat our water for coffee. It might be nice to have a path leading from the Parlour to the Swedish hot tub, so you don't have to walk over grass to get there (it was wet when we stayed and so we got a bit muddy).

The Parlour is very charming and perfectly located on a lovely farm. Though it sits beside the host's house, it's situated to provide plenty of privacy. The hosts are super helpful and I'd definitely recommend using the Swedish hot tub. The hosts got it started for us while we were at Alton Towers for the day and made sure we knew how to keep it going.

Really luxurious interior. Bathroom was beautiful. The Swedish hot tub was a lovely addition for a extra cost. The grass area around the parlour was well maintained.

Can't think of any improvements!

Beautiful rural location surrounded by fields, shepherd's hut was clean, warm and very comfortable, beautifully finished inside. Enjoyed sitting outside in the evening using the fire pit & watching the cows. Hosts were extremely accomodating and very helpful. Enjoyable walks from the property too.

There isn't really anything to complain about. I guess, a cover for the BBQ might make it more accessible inbetween bad weather, but that's about it.

The space was beautiful, cozy, warm, comforting and really practical for a few days away. The hosts were friendly, accomodating and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

was a really nice accommodation log fire but we didn’t use it as it was warm enough not to use it. table folds down and the bed comes out of the wall. great design with wardrobe. outside lighting to sit outside in your very own private garden at night with a log fibre outside too. great for visiting Alton towers as it’s only a 7 minute drive, you’re practically on the same road all the way to Alton Towers

Perfect location close to Alton Towers, and great food at the local pub. really cool and nice place to stay and very friendly owners. would definitely recommend. I will be booking again when I’m next visiting the area.
