The en-suite was lovely/clean too, but inside the shower, there was nowhere to hold soap/shampoo etc, and if we had to be picky, we would have appreciated some sort of shelf/basket to save bending up and down to the shower tray.

Our room was lovely, so spacious! We loved the view of the Loch from our window. As for the breakfast, the cold table was incredibly generous, with an excellent variety to choose from. The cooked breakfast that followed was good too, according to my husband. I opted for a bowl of porridge, both mornings - delicious! Our host was so nice, approachable and informative

On our arrival we parked the car in the back garden. The lady (sry forgot the name) was so hospitable. The room.....ohhhhhh AMAZING😍...the place is soooo quiet, except for the feeeeeew passing vehicles, the humming sound of the river, and the chirping birds. The view is breathtaking. The bathroom was the surprise of it all 😁 10/10. Breakfast 10/10. Well done and keep it up😊

It was a bit tricky to work out where we were supposed to park, and having parked there was nothing to indicate how to get into the hotel, just a plain black door into the garden. We rang and were given directions to an unmarked lane at the back of the property off the main road, and the Hostess came out into the garden to greet us, which was helpful. It was quite straightforward once we knew, but not obvious from the road.

Lovely location beside Loch Fyne. This property is beautifully decorated and has it's own parking. The Lady who runs it is delightful and extremely kind and helpful. The room was clean, with a spacious bathroom, and the bed was a super comfortable 4 poster. The breakfast was amazing! Everything you could ask for - cereals, fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, fish, pastries... and the offer of a cooked breakfast too if desired. Great coffee and tea and a view over the loch from the dining room. Perfect.

Nothing. For me it was perfect. My room was on second floor up a spiral staircase which would not be suitable for some elderly or infirm guests. Not a criticism just a practical issue to consider for some.

Beautiful house. Lovely owners. Stunning room with sea view and huge en suite. Great continental breakfast with cooked option too.

Nothing that would put me off making another visit! , car park at rear so getting luggage to room is a wee bit of a chore but its a very minor issue you can do nothing about!

The Old Rectory was wonderful- the room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! We would recommend staying there if you are in the Inveraray area.

The Old Rectory is in a prime location for all that Inveraray has to offer visitors. The room we were given had brilliant views of the loch and 3 large windows to further enhance the room's period features. Pride of place stands the most comfortable bed which occupies an elevated position in the very large room. It also has a very comfy sofa in prime position at the window on the lochside. The shower room also shares this view and contains a modern walkin shower and state of the art amenities. Both rooms have working shutters on the windows for privacy and tea and coffee making facilities. Our breakfast choices had everything you could possibly request, both cooked scottish and continental were catered for by our lovely host who was very friendly and knowledgeable A Masterpiece!!

Comfortable room on the second floor, overlooking the loch. The breakfast was outstanding, easily the best we have ever had in a B&B. There was an enormous choice of delicious food on the buffet plus the option of a cooked breakfast. The hosts were very friendly and attentive and the location was good, within easy range of the ferry terminal at Oban. We will certainly return the next time we are in the area!

The hosts were absolutely incredible! So friendly, helpful and kind, treated us like family and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! The location is superb and the view from our room was amazing! Definitely would recommend to anyone and everyone! We will be back! Thank you for an amazing stay!!
