There was nothing to fault it!!

Location was perfect , breakfast was perfect, and attention to detail from housekeeping as a card and balloons were in the room as I mentioned it was my husband's 70th made our stay just perfect!! Thank you we will return.

The only thing we don't seem to be getting along with are the beds, someone else would probably like the mattresses. Although it dipped our score slightly, overall we were very happy.

This is our second visit but we chose a different room. You can't beat this location if you are visiting Uphill Lincoln; it's right in the heart and it has free parking. The room was lovely with a great view and fresh croissants and yoghurt in the morning, delivered to your room, is a great way to start the day. The fridge with water, milk and orange juice is nice, as are the biscuits and little chocolates.

The location is totally exceptional. Right in the historical heart of the city, 5 minutes walk from the cathedral, yet totally peaceful and exceptionally quiet.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

The location was exceptional, literally a stones throw from the Cathedral and the old town and to be able to park directly outside. Lovely maintained old building. Well equipped room and the comfy bed with quality bedding. Staff friendly and helpful RECOMMENDED

Sadly no on site cooked breakfast because if it did the dining room would probably have fantastic windows and view but the complimentary bag of fruit, yoghurt and croissant was excellent.

The Old Palace Lodge does not cater for cooked breakfast however they do offer a offer a complimentary bag of fruit, yoghurt and croissant which is delivered to you door in the morning or they could book you in at one of the . The room we had was beautiful especially with the round church windows, they definitly stole the show. Location was a stones through from Limcoln Cathedral and a couple of minutes walk into town so location was spot on too and since tou can park your car then forgetabout it what could be better.

I have no criticism, though if you're not familiar with Lincoln do please make sure your satnav is on.

The room was elegant and stylish; the building historically interesting and impressive (see Photo) I hadn't expected breakfast, but a light breakfast (warm croissant * yoghurt) was attached to the door handle at an agreed time. Above all, the location - a stone's throw from the Cathedral and just off Steep Hill, was perfect. There's no shortage of quality restaurants: my own recommendation is for the quirkish but delightful Crust (see Photo), quite a way down the hill, with an understated entrance (it's up a flight of stairs). Victor, the boss, does lunches (I don't have details), evening dinner (which I had) is 7.00 pm-9.00 pm. You will have not only an excellent meal but a fascinating experience!
