There is absolutely nothing to mention

We loved the cottage as a whole and we had a very relaxing time. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the entire space is fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The beautiful fragrances throughout add to the charm. The cottage has been finished to the highest standard, with no expense spared, making it feel just like home. There is a selection of toys, board games and books available for guests, which is very thoughtful. We enjoyed interacting with the animals, which added to the charm of our stay. The location is great, less than 15 min drive to the nearest shop, selection of takeaways and town centre, but also to venture out further afield. We loved visiting Wales, we loved the accommodation and hope to be back one day. Thank you to lovely hosts Rachel & Mark.

There could have been some larger frying pans, as there was only one large pot available.

The kitchen was well stocked with items and the bed and couch were very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious and the accomodation was beautifully decorated.

Amazing property, clean and beautiful. Children absolutely loved it - they had their own child size room, there were some toys and children books and all those lovely animals. They found some eggs in the chicken houses. We ate them too :) What a marvelous event for those 2 city urchins! Beautiful location in the heart of welsh countryside.

All the attention to detail - it has everything you could need - a home away from home. Our children enjoyed the chickens, pigs, cats and dog. Very sweetly made chocolate brownies and left us eggs and milk we could use.

Although there was a lovely sitting-out area, perhaps in future they could provide a run-around area for younger holiday-makers.

Beautiful views near the cottage. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, they provided fresh eggs, milk etc. The children loved the animals and were allowed to feed them which made their day! All in all a very successful and comfortable stay. Totally recommend this accommodation.

it is in the middle of nowhere, which, on the one hand is brilliant, but on the other hand requires a fair drive to get to the nearest town.

Only drawback was that the upstairs room was a little hard to get up to with narrow stairs (hard with a heavy bag) and quite low ceiling - if you are aware of it, no problem!

Really lovely wonderful stay - thank you. We were met by the house owners who handed over the keys and gave us an overview of the property which is opposite their house. It was really spacious and open and light - you know when you stay somewhere and you know it will be nice? Well, it felt like home almost immediately. There was some milk, tea bags and coffee when we arrived, plus some delicious warm fruit cake. It is about a 10/15min drive from the nearest town, beautifully secluded with stunning views. Chickens, pigs, cats and a dog greeted us. Comfy sofa and blankets provided, easy to use TV, comfy beds and some board games to spare :)

Thank you Rachael and Mark for a wonderful stay! The cottage was really comfortable and the perfect base for us to explore the Brecon Beacons. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was lovely to have fresh eggs for breakfast from your hens. Amazing surroundings in peaceful countryside, would highly recommend and we hope to return!

It was the perfect get away, quiet, warm, clean and well presented. The location is perfect for great views and nice walks. The hosts are warm and friendly as are the locals, with all facilities available a short drive away.

Beautifully decorated, well-equipped cottage, which was warm and cozy. Surrounded by rolling hills and picturesque countryside. Comfortable beds, clean as a pin. Photos do not it justice. Rachael and Mark were very welcoming and friendly. Left us delicious welcome cakes, fresh eggs from their hens, bottled water, milk, tea and coffee. Loved the animals, the Cockerells are full of character, made us laugh. My daughter loved the 3 Trotters, the kittens and Bonny their puppy! Cannot fault this peaceful little gem, will definitely be returning! 100% recommend!!
